From start to finish, excellent service, professional but friendly. Impossible to find fault with any member of staff. Thank you all so much for making a scary experience a happy one !

  2. Review titled Excellent Care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended A & E with heart palpitations following a Moderna booster vaccination. I could also hear my hear beating in my head and felt generally unwell. The announcements were for a 14 hour wait. I was triaged in about 45 minutes and had an ECG 20 minutes later. I then settled down for a long wait but was called fairly quickly and sent to a department called AEC which I had not heard of before.. The doctor there was very thorough, professional and kind, I was given blood tests and sent for a chest x-ray and waited about 2 hours for the results which fortunately for me were OK. It was the best of care in every way so I wanted to record my appreciation.

  3. Review titled Elective Care Centre - Exceptional

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Kathy T - Posted on 25 August 2022

Husband had small metal piece removed from below eye. From welcome to discharge all staff cheerful, helpful and gave their names. It was a wonderful experience being treated with such care and attention. Many thanks. Two small points: discharge bag contained phials of liquid but no details of what for. Local chemist explained. Leaflet with contact numbers has 2 numbers for Daytime use but neither rang out. Triage nurse clearly engaged most of time and message then said to hang up and try later! Just felt a bit abrupt, sorry. But the above clearly outweighed by actual treatment received. Well done!

Dear Kathy Many thanks for your sharing you and your husbands experience of care and treatment at the Trust. It is lovely to hear that all staff were cheerful, helpful, and provided their names from your arrival to discharge home. I am sorry to hear that the phials your husband was given were not labelled and that you were unable to get through to the numbers provided. I will share your experience with the team for learning and reflection and would like to wish your husband well in his recovery. Thank you for sharing your experience.

  4. Review titled Ophthalmic Elective Care Centre

Rated 5 stars out of 5

From admission to discharge treatment excellent. All staff welcoming, professional and reassuring. Minor problem with discharge bag contents but pharmacist resolved. Option 5 on initial response no cut off as told no longer working. Triage nurse alternative very busy and rather abrupt voice said to hang up and ring later. But these two minor points far outweighed by actual wonderful treatment received. Thank you.
