    The Gynaecology Team, Anaesthetic Staff, Nurses and the rest of the Team that night of 2nd January 2023, saved my life because of their wisdom, knowledge, skills, values and best practice. I was rushed by the ambulance bleeding and lost 3Liters of blood that night, but the whole team led by the Gynaecology Team did a Great Job, Praising God for this. I’m forever grateful to all of you including the Nurses, Doctors and Consultants in the Resuscitation Area, Recovery room, Intensive Treatment Units Northward & Southward and the Willow Ward. God Bless all of you.

    It’s almost impossible to cancel or rearrange an appointment. The amount of delay being put through to anyone, makes you want to hang up the phone and not bother. No wonder so much money is being wasted to ‘no show’ appointments. I’ve been in the queue for 35min to speak to outpatients to cancel a small procedure appointment. I think I am going to hang up now as I only patient 13, after starting at being patient 29 in the queue. Huh with such an inefficient contact service, no wonder you have so many’no shows’. An incredible shame

    During a difficult delivery, with a potentially fatal outcome, labour ward and theatre staff were skilled and prompt to identify problems and act fast to avoid the situation becoming drastically worse. Post-natal care has been wonderful. Baby and I are very grateful to have received outstanding clinical and pastoral care at Barnet Labour and post-natal ward.

    My elderly mum was in excruciating pain during the early morning hours of Friday. The care they provided for her was outstanding. I saw how busy and pushed the staff were. Hats off to how they remained calm and handled all the patients with care despite additional pressures from some very demanding relatives accompanying the patients. I saw the how they handled everything with in a very calm and professional way. A big clap for the staff, especially the head nurse. We are very proud of our NHS, well done for everything you do.

    Went for blood tests today 30.01.2023 and had the worst experience ever. The lady who took my blood was the rudest person I've ever met. Firstly she kept arguing about me not wearing a face covering. I guess she's not happy she must wear one. Secondly I warned her I faint sometimes and she replied- if you faint so you'll be on the floor, I don't care. It's for safety reasons. What safety reasons? I didnt say anything because I'm worried what she gonna do with the blood samples she took from me. Worst hospital on Earth i guess. I rather die than be taken there. Its sad we can't mention exactly who person was because they should be shamed. Why people like that are allowed to work with other people. Disgusting. Avoid if you can.

    My husband has been waiting in their A&E for 8 hours and is still waiting to be seen! It is now 5.21am and he has not been seen. We have children to both transport to school in the morning and our son is disabled. This is an appalling way to treat parents and registered carers. I am calling the CQC when it opens to ask them why this hospital is not rated inadequate.

    I want to CT scan 22nd January 2023, Staff is very rude and no discipline, we r wait in morthen then 1 hours, Out side no sitting area, today is 16 feb2023 my GP didn't get result or any reports form CT scans from barnet hospital. So GP can't give medication and I am suffering pain kidney ston

    My mum is Walnut ward after recovering from Covid. She is awaiting a care package before she can be discharged home. The staff have been amazing, my mum is looking very well cared for and they even had relaxing music playing for her, from what I saw on my visit it was working! All the staff I have come across have been so kind, caring and approachable. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness in the hospital.

    I brought my severely disabled mum into A&E at BGH on 16th Jan 2023 following an urgent referral from Chase Farm Hospital where it was established that my mum had dislocated her right knee. There were 2 doctors from the Orthopaedic team assigned to my mum's severe injury and we cannot show our appreciation and gratitude enough for the doctors' high level of care, service and patience towards my mum. The doctor showed so much respect to my elderly mum whilst remaining professional and ensuring she was comfortable throughout despite her injury. We would appreciate it if our message is passed onto this department please as we highly recommend the doctors who helped my mum to other patients alike. Many thanks.

    I was admitted here for physio after experiencing stiffness in my wrist following a break. The first person who saw me I wasn’t massively impressed. She pretty much asked me what exercises I was doing and said “yeah do that”. Maybe she was new. However, man who took my final two physio sessions was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to adapt the exercises to get me back to my normal routine. For me this meant being able to lift heavy weights at the gym once again. My experience reinforces what I’ve always thought about NHS physio; you get a varied experience depending on the individual assigned to you. In the future it would be great if they invested in the whole team to up-skill them to the level of the last guy I saw.

We're sorry to read that you didn't find the first physio you saw particularly helpful, but we are at least glad that the physio you had for your final two appointments was very knowledgeable and has helped you get back to your usual routine in the gym.
