    Just want to shout out for the excellent care I received from a certain male nurse on AAU on Saturday after being moved from a&e. Would like to mention him personally but not sure if that's allowed, which is a shame as he went out of his way to help the three of us who were in the room. If only everyone was like him the world would be a better place 😁

    I was cared for by Cardiology Team last year and received the most fantastic care ! I was admitted to the Cardiology Ward for my stay, as that was the only bed available at the time. I want to thank all the GP's, Nurses, and other staff for all the wonderful care I received. They have changed for life, and I don't know where I would be if it was not for them ; ) Thank you so much.

    I attended A&E on two occasions with both of my parents who have serious health issues and English is not their first language therefore I am required to attend with them for any hospital visits. I was allowed to go in to see nurses and doctors but was made to wait outside in freezing cold weather and a rain with barely any seats! I find this unacceptable especially when i go in to see doctor and then walk around hospital for the tests. Its lot like you can sit in the car and wait once they got called in as parking is round the corner. I ended up ill my self on both occasions with massive fever and bed bound for 3 days, because I was made to wait outside in freezing cold!

We're very sorry to read that you were asked to wait outside for your parents and that this led to you becoming unwell on both occasions. Our current emergency department guidance on the Royal Free website states that to avoid over-crowding, visitors may be asked to wait outside (as part of on-going Covid measures), but given your experience, we would encourage you to discuss this with our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).     Midwives didn't explain what was happening and kept leaving me in different rooms despite my concerns. I’m pregnant for the first time and was left clueless with no communication about what was going on or if there were any concerns. Left me feeling very anxious

    Very poor experience this weekend and staff who appear to lack empathy and caring. It was a very upsetting experience . Waits of 10 hours and no information given when you see staff on procedures and what to expect . Recorded the wrong information on the x-ray form and was told I was having a chest x-ray rather than hip and back. Had to leave all my clothes on the floor in the x-ray dept as no chairs or lockers . I watched one young doctor spending an hour on her phone and seeing no one. UTC a totally different atmosphere from the very helpful man on reception to the nurse practitioner . Caring and helpful and informative plus gave time. Clean, modern and bright. What a difference! When you enter A and E you sit looking at a big poster promoting Hadley Wood private hospital only a mile away and the contact details. Is this what it has come to? Having been a special needs teacher in Newham, Waltham Forest and Enfield for over 40 years I would never have displayed such poor attitudes to parents despite the stress. Thankyou to the UTC dept

    Thank-you for the care and service I received in Barnets emergency care. Especially the care I had in AAU. The staff and medical care were first class. It was a traumatic experience I had but it was relieved by the care I received. Thanks again.

    I had a referral from my GP to have a scan as I am 10 weeks pregnant and bleeding no one has called me to book an appointment I’ve called them next day to ask them about the appointment and they said that I don’t need to do a scan there’s nothing we can do if you’re bleeding as I had three miscarriages The way they spoken to me it was unprofessional my GP had to call the hospital so that can take me and that’s how bad the dealed with a patient

    I can’t begin to tell you all how good A&E were but also the Spruce Ward/ Rowan Ward. They literally saved my life. I will always be grateful to them. Keep up the good work! May good bless you all. Many Thanks Mahmuda Mirza

    My worst experience, 11 hours there and just pressure check 2 times and a blood test that I never learnt how it was. We left disappointed and who knows how many hours I would need for a doctor to see me.
