Second night at Burstead ward in Basildon hospital. Superb nursing team, working tirelessly. Caring compassionate and attentive. Cleaners constantly making sure place is spotless. I can't thank everyone enough. Every single person in the care team have been fantastic. NHS staff here deserve a huge payrise, its as simple as that!!!

  4. Review titled Clean modern ED and outstanding staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Samantha Crawley - Posted on 17 July 2022

Gotta give credit where it's due, with all the ED bashing going on. Went to Basildon ED for an Xray for a fractured foot - in and out within 3 hours, friendly face on reception, super speedy gold star treatment from the ENP, also the radiographer was absolutely lovely, as was the triage Nurse, all staff were kind, friendly and helpful. No complaints here, I think we're very lucky to get it for free. Don't think I could have had better service if I'd paid for it. I've said it before and I'll say it again, ED staff are all diamonds, hardest job I've ever done. Being seen and treated in anything under 4 hours is excellent and should be seen as such. Well done all those who keep showing up and grafting every day.
