I have been trying for most of the day to find out if an elderly relative has been admitted. Every time I have asked for the Operator and it rings the extension but no one picks up. Very frustrating when you are concerned about a relative. Please pick the phone!!!!!

On two occasions now I have had appointments for a scan for my twins.. on each occasion I have been left sitting outside the room for over a hour at a time. I arrive with 10 minutes to spare, but still waiting well over a hour, When I have been given a dedicated time and a slot long enough for a twin scan.. it’s happening every time I attend my appointments and I’m not happy at all! Something needs to be done about this. As it’s unacceptable for a 32 week pregnant women with twins to be sat waiting uncomfortable for all that time. When they have took time from work too for a 10am appointment but still sitting outside at 11.15am and continuing to wait!!!

I recently had my beautiful baby girl , 5 days ago to be precise. The team in the theatre were incredible. What a bunch of talented people. Who reassured me every step of the way. And gave me the best care and support. They brought my daughter into the world safely. And we’re all so kind from start to finish. Every single member of staff went above and beyond for us as a family and we couldn’t thank them enough. We’re extremely thankful and even left a Thankyou card and chocolates when leaving to show appreciation.

nurses in mulberry ward are horribly un-caring. No compassion or empathy. A group of 7 nurses standing in one room and talking and laughing from last half an hour and we a couple of pregnant women waiting for more than an hour now and every time we go and ask, they say there is an hour and 30 minutes wait. I have already waited for almost an hour and 10 mins. Not sure what all these are doing in this one room and we are stuck outside waiting! Always a worst experience to visit basildon hospital but unfortunately others are at a distaNce and I didn’t get accepted into any other hospital.

I was day patient and found Doctors and nurses to very helpful and put me at ease during my stay and had everything explained to me at all times.

I was referred to Basildon Hospital by my GP under the 2ww scheme. Received excellent service when having an urgent CT scan and kind considerate care at the Endsocopy deparment both prior and during a Colonoscopy. Many thanks to all concerned.

All the nurses treated me with lots of compassion and respect and fully informed me at all times. I felt so well looked after by the staff there thank you from the bottom. Of my heart

My son was sent to the AMU medical Dept by my GP who had called ahead. Within 10 minutes of arriving he had had his blood pressure, pulse, temperature and blood tests taken by very friendly and caring staff. The registrar the AMU Consultant were very thorough and moved quickly once his blood tests results came back. He was admitted to Osler ward and was met by lovely staff who are watching him closely and diligently whilst they work towards a diagnosis. I am so very impressed with every member of staff and every department that we have come in to contact with. Thank you

Thank you to all staff who looked after me in A&E yesterday. You were so busy but without exception give me the time and medical skill I needed

Treated very well under the circumstances as department was extremely busy. Seen by 3 different doctors and then admitted to SAU for two days.
