I had steroid guided injections. I had excellent experience from start to finish. Theatre nurse who collected to take me down to theatre saw I was a bit anxious and had a calming manner that kept me distracted by there calm conversation with me. Dr that did the procedure was professional caring and efficient. I had taken a cancellation so lucky to only have waited 7 weeks. I am extremely grateful for the treatment I recieved. Thankyou.

Had to have a gastroscopy was really nervous. the staff where fantastic put me at ease everyone was so kind and I walked out very happy after they had treated me in less than an hour thank you so much

I was sent to A&E with chest pains from the walk in and the staff were lovely as I. Was moved to the heart monitoring area straight away. You could see they were short staffed and I overheard one the nurses when asked if she had a break, ‘ who needs a break’ she was amazing, organising, explaining to patients what was happening, providing advice while fixing monitoring machines. Now I come to the part where hospital management should be ashamed, they were trying to monitor everyone who came in with only two mobile machines, until they could get them into the ECG rooms. One of the machines, should also take blood pressure, but it didn’t work😱. The staff were trying to prioritise who could be monitored while trying to switch equipment that didn’t work. So I am making an appeal on behalf of the staff, please can you at the very least, provide them with the equipment to save lives. They are doing their very best in exceptionally difficult circumstances and it’s criminal not to support them with monitors that work🤯 I then witnessed an ambulance driver trying to help a young girl who took a turn for the worse and he was so upset after, no one was there for him, I wanted to give him a big hug 🤗 he even came back to check on her. Anyone who says the staff don’t deserve reward for what they do need to sit in A&E for a while at the weekend For me, thank you to everyone who helped me , I only hope the equipment is provided soon to help you 🤞👏👏

Have stage 4 lung cancer which hospital knew had breathing problems and taken in to hospital been here 15 days some doctors say no worse or better two days later move you to ward next door doctors different say no better problem worse they don't know my history My daughter came to see me today only had half hour only, as on her way for holiday asked for wheelchair with oxygen so I could have quick coffee with her she had drove 500 miles already 1st nurse in charge said yes il get u chair Then sister turns up says no oxygen spare Bet If I was dying they find me a chair Food allways cold comes in metal containers use to plug in mains 2 years ago now nothing so time it comes from kitchen it's cold lost 10 kilos in week as I like my food at right temperature or hotter

I fell down a few steps at home and couldn't weight bare, went to AnE and they sent me urgent care and what an amazing facility! Extremely quick and sufficient, I was in and out in an hour. Xray complete, consultation and crutches. Wonderful place.

I had a colostomy on 22 March and my initial stay was for nine days. Throughout that time I received friendly focussed and professional care from all staff, from domestic to nursing and surgical. Unfortunately, I subsequently had two further shorter stays in quick succession due to post-operative problems. Again, on both occasions I received first class care and treatment. The only down-side was a 15 hour wait in A&E for a bed on my first return visit. In mitigation, the department was working at full tilt dealing with emergencies and walk in patients, and the staff were - in the main - responsive and professional.

I had broken in 2 separate ankle bones and dislocated it. Everyone from ward staff, domestic staff and surgeons were amazingly good. Nothing was too much trouble.

After having a frustrating time trying to get information I encountered a Medical Secretary who went above and beyond to be me and telephoned back when she said she would and saw me through to a satisfactory end she will hopefully know who I mean and I thank her very much

Hi visited the nuclear medicine/CT scan for a HIDA scan. The staff were really friendly, even though they haven’t done lots of HIDA scans they appeared really knowledgeable and were extremely supportive. I’d like to thank the staff who were working on 16/3/23 as it made my experience a good one. Thank you

I’ve just moved to the area and when I called 111 I received 2 calls within an hour, one from the Doctor and one from the Nurse who after brief assessment booked me in for an assessment within the hour. Was seen very quickly, staff were efficient, friendly and very helpful and even gave directions to the local pharmacist to pick up a prescription. Great service.
