  1. Review titled Excellent care and treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Kevin Derbyshire - Posted on 20 November 2022

The staff were all extremely professional and I felt at all times they were looking after me very well. The room I was in was very clean, warm and well equipped. The operation itself was a success and pain was minimal (less than I expected).

  2. Review titled Friendly staff and good explanation

    by crazy_patient4 - Posted on 27 October 2022

[Very happy with 'Waiting time'] The waiting time was negligible, pretty fast. [Very happy with 'Reception'] Reception was quite friendly. [Very happy with 'Finding your way'] The reception also explained how to reach over the call beforehand. [Very happy with 'Privacy'] It was done behind closed doors and had enough privacy. [Very happy with 'Staff attitude'] Staff was friendly and nice. [Very happy with 'Treatment'] They explained why this treatment and further steps too. [Very happy with 'Medication'] They gave me medication. Since it was specialty clinic they gave the meds for free. [Very happy with 'Future plans'] Also told me about future plans, what we will do if the issue doesn't get resolved. [Very happy with 'Cleanliness'] The place was quite clean.

  3. Review titled Wonderful care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Amanda Welsh - Posted on 05 September 2022

I had my right knee replaced at Central Middlesex Hospital in September 2022. I cannot speak highly enough of the care given to myself and others in my 4 bed ward in the Abbey Suite. Everyone was treated with kindness and compassion, whatever problems were being faced. If you placed a call to the nurses station it was answered immediately. Breakthrough pain was addressed quickly and advice given when necessary. Support for personal hygiene was offered with toiletries and a soft clean towel provided. Food was served hot and was very palatable. Tea, coffee and biscuits were offered between meals. Physiotherapy was also provided on several occasions. The level of care far outstripped that of my experience for similar surgery in a nearby private hospital. If there was a necessity, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Central Middlesex Hospital. I would like to offer a huge thank you to all the staff, whatever their role, who took part in my care during my recent admission.
