  1. Review titled Worst experience in a hospital ever

Rated 1 star out of 5

I was late for my appointment by 10 minutes as I'm from the other side of Leeds and went to the wrong surgery in Chapel allerton to start with as the letters and phone calls I recieved didn't have enough information and made out that I was getting my mole removed when I wasn't. After been getting transferred on the phone 3 times the last person I spoke to said it was urgent. When I got there the DR was so arrogant, I was in there 5 minutes and he didn't seem to care about the patient as he seemed really sarcastic. He asked me what I had on my back (which was numbing cream as I thought I was getting my mole removed) & then said we wouldn't be able to remove it now anyway as your 20 minutes late. I asked him to look at the moles on my face and got a blunt reply that I needed to see a plastic surgeon. Not even 30seconds to look at them. When I finished my appointment and got downstairs out of the lift the doctor had beaten me to the door and had his stuff on ready to go home. Whether he'd had a bad day at work or not he needs to learn to treat every patient the same and have more manners. First time I went to this hospital and hope I'll never have to return there. I understand a doctors job is very hard but with the way he was he should leave his work if he doesn't like it that much. Worst hospital experience I've ever had. Felt myself like it was becuase Im a young lady & English. Wouldn't expect anyone needing medical help to be treated like that.

  2. Review titled Not a great experience!

Rated 2 stars out of 5

It has been almost a year since I had my experience with this hospital, and I’m still highly disappointed in the way I was treated or not treated as the case may be! After spending years in pain, I was relieved to finally have an appointment at a hospital that was seemingly the top in its field and from reading reviews seemed to have doctors who cared and would help. For my appointment I was seen by a registrar, who was lovely yes, but didn’t have my results from my previous hospital, and seemingly seemed like my pain was just pain and seemed happy to write it off as fibromyalgia, until the consultant came in and decided to do bloods, x-rays and an MRI. Now, as I left the appointment I was told I would hear from them within 2-3 month for a follow up about my results. I heard nothing, until I received a letter with two or three sentences telling me the results of my MRI. That was it, nothing else. No appointment, no official sign off, nothing. I had to contact the hospital to receive the rest of my results, because I had no idea what was in them otherwise. Obviously my results weren’t interesting enough to follow up with, because of zero appointment and I was offered no solutions to my pain a part from what was talked about within the initial appointment! I wasn’t expecting special treatment, but I was hoping for doctors that would dig a little deeper and not stop or completely ignore me when my test results didn’t show what they wanted. My pain may not be as debilitating as some, but it’s even worse a year on and I understand doctors can only do so much, but a hospital that is touted as being one of the leading hospitals in rheumatology, I thought they might have had more of an interest in helping someone and getting to the bottom of it. Instead, I wasn’t even given a follow up appointment and am left to deal with pain that is only getting worse.
