  1. Review titled Assembly Line

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I received great service in Day Surgery however I was very disturbed that in this day and age when we have just been thru Pandemic and masks are supplied tho some still don’t seem to wear them and then to be seated in a room full of patients is unbelievable that precautions are still not being taken to have limited number sitting suitably at a distance from each yet they prevent partners from accompanying advising that to keep patients safe! Don’t get me wrong service was second to none but this crowding of patients in one awaiting to be taken for surgery left me stumped Also was promised by the Doctor that he would come and meet me before discharge not only was advised that he had emergency surgery but having waited were then advised that he had left hospital without even have courtesy to meet me. Where is duty of care!

  2. Review titled Urgent Care Centre - very positive experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 14 September 2022

The nurse who dealt with my arm injury dressing couldn't have been more professional and helpful. I was only attending Urgent Care because there were no appointments available at local surgeries and my wound had to be dressed twice a week. I was given excellent attention and further advice as to how to deal with my injury.

  4. Review titled Exceptional staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The staff in the scanning CT department went above and beyond for me. The two radiographers (girls at around 11:20am) I was nervous and they reassured me and their professionalism was outstanding. I hope they get a big thank you as they changed my experience completely.

  6. Review titled Blood test results lost

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Very disappointed - Posted on 09 September 2022

I visited the hospital in May to do my 2 blood test. I received one of the results in 2 weeks time and waiting a month for the results of the other test to come through, unfortunately no results came for that one but just the hospital saying that there is an error with my test and I need to repeat it. I went again to repeat my test on 7th of July. I waited a month and a half and I contacted my GP regarding the results of the repeated test. There was no results and my GP practice contacted the hospital to ask the hospital what happened with my results. The hospital only replied that they don’t have any results for me!! Now I have to go again and that’s very frustrating. I am absolutely disappointed of the Hospital reply because they even didn’t put any effort to find my results and find who did the mistake and who lost the samples!! I would suggest any one that need to do blood test not to visit Chase Farm Hospital due to not competant and unorganized staff!!

Everything you would want at an anxiety-fuelled appointment : professional and kind staff, reassurance, and exhaustive investigation of a not-so-clear-cut issue. Shining example of the NHS at its best!

  9. Review titled If you're scared of an MRI.....

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 01 August 2022

...don't be - the world's nicest people work here. From Reception to the end, they answered my (many) questions and all the answers were better than expected! I wish I hadn't wasted time worrying and reading out-of-date info online, because the whole experience was so unexpectedly positive. My thanks to the whole team :)
