Review titled I could not have asked for better treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Chris Wood - Posted on 20 May 2024
I had a procedure to rectify a contracting finger (Dupuytren's Contracture) on Monday, May 20. The only slight issue was a wait of between two and three hours but I completely understand that's probably inevitable with a number of people on a list. Everything leading up to the procedure, the procedure itself, and the aftercare was handled with both great efficiency and great courtesy/friendliness. Everything of the highest standard. A week later on May 27 I have just been in for a follow up sequence of checking the dressing; an examination of the hand by the operating surgeon; and the first rehab appointment. Once again everything was really well organized and went like clockwork. Once again great courtesy and friendliness. In short a brilliant service and experience. Thank you.

Review titled Kind and compassionate team
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Scarlet Aflalo - Posted on 21 May 2024
I have visited twice for bloods at this hospital and both times the team were so kind and caring. I can have quite a serious complication related to venepuncture, and they listened, took the appropriate steps and really cared. They checked in on me after, and I genuinely have never felt so safe and comfortable in a hospital before. They always have a cheery disposition regardless of whatever kind of day they are having, which is commendable. Thank you for everything you do and for making me feel safe for the first time in a while. How lucky are we to have the NHS and humans like this working in it!

Review titled Great Experience with a doctor
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Maria Fernanda - Posted on 07 May 2024
I started my experience at the hospital very unpleasant for several reasons. But my consultation with Dr Evbuomwan saved the day. He went above and beyond on my case, I could tell he really wanted to make sure he wa ruling out the worse case scenarios first. Later he kept reviewing my tests and gave me a very well rounded support. We need to have more doctors like him. Good professional, knows his business and a very kind person. Thanks Dr Evbuomwan

Review titled Heart Emergency - Waited for 25 min!!!
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Maria - Posted on 07 May 2024
I entry the emergency with a suspect of a heart issue. In all hospital across the World this is tier 1 priority. It’s been 31 min since I gave my conditions, went to speak with the receptions begging to be seen and they were very rude. This is absolutely mad I’m under a lot of chest pain. It’s increasing. I barely can breath I hope I don’t have something. If I do, this is a prove record of the miss service and absolutely delay of the hospital for real urgent care. Either way this is absolutely mad.

Rated 1 star out of 5
by Maria - Posted on 07 May 2024
It’s been 58 min since I enter the emergency with a heart condition I was not yet asked to be seen by a doctor. In every hospital in the world heart is absolutely a priority. Even the reception is shocked as a lot of people has been seen but me. Again, writing this as a record in case something happens to me Absolutely outrageous. At least a safe check should have been done by now!!!

Review titled Amazing staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Tereza - Posted on 19 May 2024
I had a laser endovenous treatment done and I must say the staff including the doctor made me feel so calm and in peace! I was obviously very nervous because I didn't know how painful and uncomfortable it was going to be and the amazing attitude of the staff made it such a nice experience which I didn't expect to say! Thank you so much.

Review titled First class treatment in A@E
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Christopher Battiscombe - Posted on 23 April 2024
I would like to thank everyone in the A&E department for the excellent treatment I received from all of them yesterday when I came in with a serious and deep cut in my head after falling off a ladder. Despite all the pressure on them they immediately understood the severity of my problem and dealt with it quickly , efficiently and with great sympathy. I would like in particular to thank the doctor who stitched up my wound whose name I know but understand that I am not allowed to mention it.

Review titled Very poor
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Mary - Posted on 11 March 2024
Attended AE today, was told I needed to see a member of the colorectal team, waited 9 hours for them to come and see me in AE, to find out they are refusing to come down to see me,as they couldn't be bothered .so they send a doctor who was to busy cracking her knuckles while talking to me. Absolutely disgusting, I had to discharge myself after 9 hours of no care at all. Need to change hospitals. AE staff couldn't apologize enough, but it wasn't their fault,

Review titled More can be done for the non-verbal

This is the second time the patient has been admitted to hospital and unfortunately because they cannot say when they need an inco pad change they have been left sogging wet, yesterday was another day when the top sheet, night dress all bottom sheets were so wet and the patient was cold, the patient was strip washed and changed after 30 minutes of me raising the concern. The hospital needs to cater for everyone and not just for some patients. Paying special attention to those who cannot speak
