Review titled Very grateful to hospital staff.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 24 August 2022
Had to have a endoscopy in the oncology department. I've never been in hospital before and i'm nearly 63. I must admit I was scared and I panicked a bit when having the endoscopy but the doctor and nurses were really understanding. I'm fortunate nothing too serious in the end. But would like to thank all the staff for being so caring and understanding.

Review titled Xray department
Rated 3 stars out of 5

My mum needed an xray on her new hips today. My mum has dementia. The xray staff let me into the room with mum as she doesn't always understand what is being asked of her. The staff were kind and sensitive to her needs. The two gentlemen doing the xrays( one a trainee) Were incredibly respectful and were very gentle with mum. They also explained themselves in ways( talking slowly and plainly) that my mum could understand. Mum didn't get stressed and she didn't get agitated. It also made my experience with the situation much less stressful. All of the other xray staff that we encountered were very helpful and courteous too.

An angiogram was carried out in July at the Hartpury Suite, Cheltenham General Hospital. I was very well cared for as a day-patient on this unit. All the staff were uniformly kind and attentive. Thank you ++

Review titled In need of communication

When we get appointment letters through, you ask if we can let you know if we want to cancel or change the appointment which is the decent thing to do. That being the case, when you guys cancel an appointment or haven’t got time to see patients, shouldn’t you guys do the decent thing too?

Review titled Excellent Care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Cynthia Faulkner - Posted on 28 July 2022
I attended as a day case for an Arthroscopy of knee. From the moment l arrived l felt a sense of calm. Everything was extremely well coordinated and each step explained in an unrushed manner. As a retired nurse l could not fault the care and attention that l received from every discipline that day. Nothing was too much trouble, and the atmosphere was relaxed and happy. Thankyou Dixon ward for the greeting and pre op care,.Thankyou Alstone ward for your post op care. You should all be proud.
