  1. Review titled Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable nursing staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Fairly serious wheelchair accident resulting in leg wound. The Nursing and other staff at the walk in accident department of Cromer Hospital were absolutely superb - dealt with me promptly, efficiently and I was soon on my way with my leg safely bandaged. How lucky to be a very long time Cromer resident and so fortunate to be able to say 'the town's NHS facilities are superb'.

  2. Review titled Superb Urology team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Graham - Posted on 14 March 2025

Attended for a scary Transperineal Prostate Biopsy. What an excellent team it was that performed this stressful but largely pain free procedure. It was more like a party atmosphere! Really enjoyed chatting with the nurses whilst the procedure was underway, discussing such important things as teeth implants and the band Fascinating Aida. Literally was no more uncomfortable than a 3 hour Ryanair flight. Well done!!!

I attended the urology department for a routine checkup. My appointment was on time and I was dealt with in a friendly and professional manner. This gave me confidence in the outcome.

Our Boys' Brigade Camp made use of the Minor Injuries Unit throughout the week and they were unfailingly excellent in the level of service.

  5. Review titled Minor Injuries Unit very competent

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Ann O - Posted on 17 March 2024

i attended the Minor Injuries Unit on Friday March 15th at about 1.45pm. I was immediately booked in and after a short wait was called through to the nurse. She was very understanding, relaxed, friendly and competent. I then waited a short while and went for X-rays (3 views) - again streamlined and proficient. I returned to reception area to await results and was shortly called through. The original nurse actually showed me the X-ray images on a screen, and explained them. I returned to reception where they arranged an appointment with Othopaedics,NNUH for Monday morning, 18th March. This is absolutely incredible. What a service ! Everyone so kind, patient and polite. Thank you . The entire procedure was less than 2.5 hours.

  6. Review titled Even better than I stated !

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Anni O - Posted on 18 March 2024

In my recent review I said the procedures took less than 2.5 hours. So sorry, must have been the pain...as it was only about 1.5 hours. That is just so incredible...but true. Such efficiency and organisation ! Thank you all.

I have just received the most wonderful care from the staff and Doctor at Cromer Hospital ,the team in the biopsy department are a real credit . Whilst I wouldn't wish to experience it again ,they made a very unpleasant procedure tolerable A Big Thank You

  8. Review titled Minor injuries not treated…makes no sense!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 05 December 2023

I took our 2.5yr old to the MI clinic - he had a swollen finger and blister. Was told by the receptionist that it might not be a minor injury…she got a nurse to check. He said it wasn’t as well! I was pretty amazed. They told me I had to go to Norwich A&E…and so I left with my son and baby. An hour drive later - arrived at A&E, processed and finally saw a nurse who said it was the very definition of a minor injury! Thankfully they treated us there and my son was given the antibiotics he needed. Shocking! They were polite..but still left appalled that we were turned away and my son had to suffer for longer.

Took my 86 yr olds terminally ill husband to the eye dept today. From booking him in to having all his tests and consultation with the dr the care and empathy was exemplary. We were in and out in an hr. Well done to all the staff. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful resource nearly on our doorstep. Best regards

  10. Review titled Fantastic staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jan Munn - Posted on 16 June 2023

We want to say thank you to the minor injuries unit at Cromer Hospital. Our 3 year old hurt her ankle and needed an X-ray. She was extremely upset and anxious , as were we! But the staff were brilliant. They put her at ease and completed the process in very tricky circumstances. A very busy department. So necessary in our rural area. So thank you for your patience, understanding and care.
