Had general surgery today and was admitted to level 3 Brunel ward I can’t thank the staff enough always making effort to come in and check on you , always remembering to take your observations and letting you know what was happening and when . Was taken care of really well and everything was explained to me from being taken down to surgery to coming back upto recovery and being taken back up to the ward . I didn’t manage to catch the two ladies names who were looking after me I just want to say a massive thank you , you made me feel at ease and nothing was to much trouble . Discharge was taken care of efficiently had all my paperwork and meds ready for me Thank you for everything that you do in the nhs

Review titled Amazing practice

Your Review: My son visited the Ealing Hospital surgery practice today, for minor surgery and I couldn't fault anyone within the practice at tall. He was very nervous and both my son and myself were worried about the procedure, as my son has special needs. We were both looked after extremely well and was reassured by both the nurse and the surgeons. I would just like to add how extremely lovely our nurse was to us both and did her utmost to keep us both relaxed and calm throughout our whole time within the hospital. Both my son and myself would like to thank you immensely, you could not have done more for us

Dear Sir/Madame, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback regarding your recent visit to A&E at Ealing. I'm glad to hear your brother was seen promptly and you both were treated with compassion. I'm sorry to hear you feel the communication to relatives was not clear. Often with such a fast pass environment the simple things can be missed but this is definitely something the team can work towards improving to ensure all relatives feel fully informed. Apologies for your property being left behind, this will be passed on to the department to ensure this doesn't happen again. I will of course pass on your feedback to the A&E team. Thank you again for sharing. I hope your brother is now on the mend. Many thanks, Emma Calnan - Patient Experience Officer

My husband was admitted as an emergency - we are all so grateful to the A&E team for their professionalism, calm and care. I could see that they were extending the same consideration to other patients too. Right from the moment of admission to discharge, from the doctors, nurses, technicians and porters - every single person was reassuring and we received expert care. The NHS is under great pressure and despite the underfunding, each member of the A&E team was outstanding. Thank you

I have been an outpatient of the gastro dept for 2 years and have been constantly let down. It took about 6 months for the department to get my name correct despite multiple phone calls informing of the mistake, personal letters sent to an incorrect address (GDPR breach?!), missed appointments (by them) and unreturned phone calls to find out what is going on. After having a MRI they failed to deliver the results, it took 3 months to get through to someone (again, messages not returned) to realise that they had 'forgotten' to schedule an appointment to discuss my results. As it stands at the moment I am trying to get through to understand why nobody contacted me for a missed scheduled phone appointment. There are other issues which I will not list here. This is all very distressing for an issue that I have been dealing with long term and that causes me pain on a daily basis. I want to switch hospitals but my GP says they are reluctant to do so as Ealing Gastro dept hasn't uploaded all my test results so if I move now I will need to go back on the waiting list and start the process again. This is not favorable as the discomfort and distress I'm in is causing a big impact on my life and metal wellbeing.

Review titled Excellent treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Miss Johnson - Posted on 15 March 2023
My Mother was taken into A&E on the 14/3/23. The treatment, care and compassion she was shown was second to none. Nothing was a problem, no matter how big or small. The department was extremely busy, the admission unfortunately coincided with the Junior Doctors strike. Despite this, everything, from tests to moving cubicles, to seeing specialist doctors was all done in a very efficient and timely manner. I would like to send my heartfelt thanks to all concerned

Review titled The service and care were excellent
by BDJH - Posted on 06 January 2023
I presented at Ealing Accident and Emergency with chest pains. I have had two stents put in 9 years ago at the same hospital. The service and care were excellent, I was seen within 30 minutes and had various tests and results within 3 hours. All the time I was checked and offered food and drink. I want to commend all the staff and congratulate them on doing such a good job, especially as, in my opinion, governments over the last 50 years have starved the NHS of resources and don't seem to care about this vital public service.

Review titled Outstanding care in Accident and Emergency

I cannot thank all the staff in the wonderful accident and emergency department. Having suffered a knee fracture and attending Watford A and E, where I experienced horrendous neglect, I decided to attend Ealing hospital. The care I received was outstanding. From the X ray team, to the nurses and Drs, each person was so efficient and compassionate. I cannot thank you enough for what you did for me.
