Review titled Great staff at the Urgent Treatment / A&E staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by NC Poon - Posted on 11 September 2023
The staff at the Urgent Treatment / A&E, from security personnel to the receptionists, the cleaners, and the medical professionals are kind, patient, and forbearing with every one. Two experiences stand out: 1. the medical doctor who attended to my injury treated me as a person -- with attentive listening -- and not simply as a 'case' that needs to be dealt with hurriedly. 2. The security staff treated someone who was rude with huge forbearing and gentleness. Never did they lose temper while dealing with a difficult situation.

Review titled Good Personable experience

I was admitted to Brunel ward level 3 for day surgery, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I felt at ease with both the anaesthetist and surgeon who came to speak with me along with ward staff. My ward staff lady was amazing and had excellent bedside manner making me feel comfortable and at ease during my stay. my only complaint is that I was discharged and not seen by a doctor to explain to me how my procedure went and what possible next steps may be, as I learnt after reading my discharge note that they found more than the Gyni had said I was suffering from.

Review titled Great A&E Staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Dan - Posted on 12 August 2023
I had to attend A&E at Ealing hospital for a friend who hurt her ankle last night. The place was packed but the staff could not have been more friendly. We were in and out, including an xray and crutches, in under 2 hours. The reception staff were quick and friendly. The nursing staff were very helpful, even trying to find a wheelchair. Thankyou for all your help, you all do such a great and difficult job.

Review titled Rapid effective care - the NHS lives!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 11 August 2023
My husband had a serious breathing crisis this morning. The ambulance arrived within about 5 mins, with fantastic staff who were calm, reassuring, caring and practical. He was immediately taken to Ealing Hospital where he was seen by a doctor within a few minutes. Blood was taken for tests straight away and he was taken for x-ray within about 20 mins. After x-ray, he was returned to A&E to see the consultant who discussed his condition and prescribed antibiotics. We went home with the consultant already emailing my husband's specialist to let him know what had happened. At a time when we hear almost nothing but criticism of the NHS, we felt we had received truly first-class care and attention. It is wonderful to see terrific clinical care in action and to know this is going on despite all the difficulties - and despite it being the first day of another junior doctors' strike! Thank you to everyone in A&E, and thank you Ealing Hospital!

I recently had day surgery here at Brunel north 3. The nurses were lovely! Ward was clean, I spent all day there and was comfortable. The Nurses who looked after me, they did everything to make sure that I was comfortable. The theatre team were amazing as well they calmed me down. My surgeon who I met previously came to see me and Welcomed me to the theatre. The anxiety that I had leading up to this day was a lot but I had no need to be so worried. I’m so grateful for our NHS!

We had a telephone consultation today for my husband. It was the first time we had spoken with Dr who phoned. Dr had read relevant notes and was supportive and encouraging . Dr had excellent interpersonal skills and was interested in patient’s general well being. Thank you.

Review titled It is like passing the buck.
by bargainem66 - Posted on 05 May 2023
I am not very satisfied with their telephone service at Ealing Hospital's Hanwell Cardiology Service because of the amount of times I phone and have to wait for a call to be answered can exceed more than half an hour before I get to speak to someone. And, when you do get to speak and ask questions, they give you another number-it is like passing the buck. And then you have to waste more time trying to get in touch with the person in the other department.
