  1. Review titled Great dressing clinic

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Came in November with a leg ulcer and (recovering) infected leg. Excellent treatment, regular 5 day dressings, kindly and professional nurses who tried different remedies. Fully healed within 2 months

  2. Review titled Very bad reception

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Arrived with my 4 and 7 year old as they had high temperature for days and had not eaten anything in say. The nurse at the front when I just arrived said that they are not taking any more patients. I arrived at 7 so I told the lady at the front that they close at 9pm and it is 7pm so why are they not taking an patients as it is still opening times, also I had two very ill young children. She still insist that they are not taking any more patient. She was very rude and inconsiderate, but I had to take my children to barnet hospital for a 6 hour wait, by that time my children's heart rates was racing and temperature was even higher. They needed urgen care amd medication. This was very awful to refuse young ill patients who arrived byway before the closing time, the lady at the front when we arrived at the walk in area was extremely heartless am should not be greeting sick patients at the front of the walk in centre.

  3. Review titled Impossible to contact!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Mr Gibbs - Posted on 11 November 2022

Attempting to call the Radiology Department to rearrange an appointment. Called 4 times, on hold for approx. 15 mins each time only to be cut off, never speaking to anyone. Instead, l tried to call the general hospital line. Selected the option to speak with a receptionist, only to be directed to another set of options without the option of speaking to a receptionist. You text people to say missed appointments cost the NHS £250 million per year, sadly it appears that your service is very much a part of this reason. Your automated services aren't good enough to completely negate the help of a 'real' person.

  5. Review titled Is anyone listening?

Rated 1 star out of 5

I needed to cancel my wife's upcoming dietician appointment. I tried every possible number. When I finally spoke to a pleasant receptionist, she was unable to help and simply referred me back to the main number. Its menu did not allow me to talk to the relevant department. Who designs this rubbish? We are told the horrendous cost of a missed appointment, yet you make it impossible to cancel. Such wonderful management.

I have tried to contact the imaging and ultrasound department numerous times as my scan results have not gone to my GP. Very frustrating. The reception staff at my actual appointment were wonderful but a shame it was a wasted trip without the results.

  7. Review titled Blunder with appointment in audiology department

by Jessica Claire - Posted on 27 October 2022

I came into the audiology department today for an appointment. It was a very wet and windy cold day outside and I was very upset when I arrived there to be told I didn’t have an appointment. Being told this, despite my letter in my hand clearly stating my appointment was for today Wednesday. The receptionist stated that you don’t do appointments on Wednesdays even though my letter specifically said I had my letter from your department in Finchley memorial hospital. I’ve just had a major bone reconstruction surgery on my foot. I was on crutches. I struggled to get there and it was a mistake as they don’t do apps in audiology on Wednesdays apparently. I was so upset I was crying, in pain, hungry and tired all for nothing because the receptionist mixed up my appointment from a Tuesday to Wednesday. The wrong day and date was given to come in. If I had been given the right day and date by letter my daughter could have taken me to my appointment. It’s totally out of order. My new date is more than 2 weeks away and I hope the hospital can organise transport for me to make up for their blunder. A very unhappy patient

  8. Review titled Fantastic service and outstanding staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Keith - Posted on 04 October 2022

I attended the walk-in centre after suffering a fall in which I broke my fibula and my ankle. The staff were helpful, professional and supportive, and I received an excellent level of care, and wanted to say thank you to all of you for the amazing work that you do, day in and day out. Understandably, the clinic was very busy on the Monday morning that I attended, and I expected to be waiting. However, I was clearly informed of what was happening at every stage, and you dealt with the large number of patients present with dignity and respect. I was really impressed with how you deal with such a busy department, and wanted to say thank you to you all for the work that you do.
