Review titled Lung Function tests
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Iain Lanyon - Posted on 30 January 2023
Your Review: I had a very thorough test and the nurse was very supportive. But I think patients should be advised that these tests are very strenuous and it takes a good few minutes to recover. Have someone with you or have a cup of tea and food afterwards. Don’t drive straight after the test. I think the pre advice should make this clear.

Review titled Caring and efficient
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended the walk in after a fall hurting my wrist. The triage nurse was amazing giving me pain relief and sorting a form for an xray. I was xrayed and then called in to another nurse who explained I had fratured my wrist and needed it to be plastered which she did. She helped fit a sling gave me aftercare information and referred me to the fracture clinic. Everyone was so caring and I was in and out in just over an hour. Thank you

Review titled Great service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sammy Cox - Posted on 29 January 2023
I attended with my mother after being unable to get a gp appointment. We had less than a 2hr wait in the walk-in clinic to be seen. Saw a kind nurse who was very thorough and helpful. She kept apologising as she had to run off to an emergency! I would highly recommend this service to everyone in the area. I wish more people would use this service when they can’t see their GP and stop blocking up A&E!!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Came in November with a leg ulcer and (recovering) infected leg. Excellent treatment, regular 5 day dressings, kindly and professional nurses who tried different remedies. Fully healed within 2 months

Review titled Very bad reception
Rated 3 stars out of 5

Arrived with my 4 and 7 year old as they had high temperature for days and had not eaten anything in say. The nurse at the front when I just arrived said that they are not taking any more patients. I arrived at 7 so I told the lady at the front that they close at 9pm and it is 7pm so why are they not taking an patients as it is still opening times, also I had two very ill young children. She still insist that they are not taking any more patient. She was very rude and inconsiderate, but I had to take my children to barnet hospital for a 6 hour wait, by that time my children's heart rates was racing and temperature was even higher. They needed urgen care amd medication. This was very awful to refuse young ill patients who arrived byway before the closing time, the lady at the front when we arrived at the walk in area was extremely heartless am should not be greeting sick patients at the front of the walk in centre.

Review titled Impossible to contact!
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Mr Gibbs - Posted on 11 November 2022
Attempting to call the Radiology Department to rearrange an appointment. Called 4 times, on hold for approx. 15 mins each time only to be cut off, never speaking to anyone. Instead, l tried to call the general hospital line. Selected the option to speak with a receptionist, only to be directed to another set of options without the option of speaking to a receptionist. You text people to say missed appointments cost the NHS £250 million per year, sadly it appears that your service is very much a part of this reason. Your automated services aren't good enough to completely negate the help of a 'real' person.

Review titled Is anyone listening?

I needed to cancel my wife's upcoming dietician appointment. I tried every possible number. When I finally spoke to a pleasant receptionist, she was unable to help and simply referred me back to the main number. Its menu did not allow me to talk to the relevant department. Who designs this rubbish? We are told the horrendous cost of a missed appointment, yet you make it impossible to cancel. Such wonderful management.
