Couldn’t make it to my appointment today and anxious not to leave the physio waiting and wasting her time I attempt to phone ( @ 9.0 am) the dept. After going round in circles I discover the Physiotherapists don’t receive phone calls, 10 mins before my appointment I’m given the number at Bridgewater and get through to a sympathetic receptionist who will let my physio know! One hears all the time of patients who don’t turn up and how much it costs the NHS but then you make it well nigh impossible to actually let the appropriate dept. know. Unfortunately I woke up being sick so didn’t have a decent time to get in touch, in different circumstances my husband would have driven to Frome hospital to inform them but that was not possible. I noted at the end of each number was a message asking callers to ‘be kind etc’ to whoever answers one’s call - I felt no unkindness just a slightly hysterical urge to laugh and weep at the same time. I’m 80 so remember fondly of the time when one simply made one phone call to a receptionist who would more often than not tell one off for cancelling at the last minute. I’m okay with the internet but so many older people aren’t and must end up so utterly confused and miserable and in some cases inadequate. Fabulous hard working staff all round …. Admin…must do better you owe it to both patients and staff.

Despite what it says on the website this is not an Urgent Care Centre, it is a Minor Injuries Unit. We wasted time visiting this site when I needed treatment.

I would likecto express my thanks to the nurse who saw me last at the miu on Sunday. She was so kind and thoughtful and helped me to feel better and that I wasn't being a nuisance at the end of a long shift. thank you.

After falling ill on holiday whilst staying at Centerparcs I went to Frome Community urgent care for some much needed help. The service I received was above and beyond. The receptionist was polite and helpful and I was seen very quickly by such a kind,caring and compassionate nurse who checked me over and didn't treat me like a number but like a human being who was feeling very sorry for herself! I want to take this time to say a massive thank you and for making my stay at centerparcs a lot less painful! The service here was 100%. Thank you so much once again!

This felt like a happy place to be. There was a wonderful painting on the wall done be school children. The receptionist greeted me with a smile she booked me in and I had made her laugh. The nurse who checked me over was lovely made me feel at ease. I saw the doctor she gave me a good check prescribed some medication and reassured me. On leaving I thanked them and said how nice they had all been. Saying thank you and having good manners costs you nothing. Thank you again I wish I could get such great service everywhere I went.

I’m sure the service is great but trying to contact to cancel an appointment( having woken up ill) a nightmare. Took almost an hour so meant the practitioner will have only known 15 mins prior to my appointment. The hospital is terrific have always had excellent care and am only doing this to point out how it could leave people just not turning up as I almost gave up.

It’s the second time I’ve had to take one of my children to minor injuries and on both occasions from the receptionist that check us in to the nurse/doctor we saw they have been nothing but helpful and kind. Even got an apology for the time we had to wait (didn’t mind waiting I understand the strain hospitals are all under). Both times I think the help and support my child has been given for a potential brake was more than they would have had at any other hospital. Almost over cautious which has been amazing. It’s clean, tidy and calm there. Another huge bonus was free parking which is unheard of at hospitals normally. Massive thanks to the kind doctor we saw today. Thank you A
