    Today I had to have a procedure done at the Vanguard Theatre and the staff were absolutely amazing. Everyone was attentive, caring and helpful. They couldn't have done more for you. They were an amazing team and worked really well together. Thank you all.

    Referred by 111 to respiratory dept on 02 Jan 23 with severe breathing problem, I was immediately treated with great courtesy and effectiveness by the CDU team who worked on my respiratory viral and bacterial infections coupled with heart behaviour issues. This was controlled in 24 hrs sufficiently for my transfer to ward 24 where care and courtesy was my ongoing experience to discharge on 06. Thank you everyone for your excellent day and night care. You are gems.

    All the staff on Ward 31 were fantastic. They took time to put me at ease ,explain all the procedures and reassured me at all times. I could not have asked for more care and attention. I can’t thank them enough.

    I am at present on ward 23 @ Glenfield, having been transferred from LRI after a week, my complaint is tribal compared to others When ordering breakfast I ask for tea and toast, I'm given the toast around 09.10 when I ask about a cup of tea am told * I don't make tea now " the tea arrives at approx 10.30 so either I'm having toast and cold water or wait till the tea arrives which plays havoc on my insulin When I was in before after giving out meds they used to come round with tea trolley but not now After being woken at 6.00 there is no refreshments till 10.30 ??? .It just seems, there is lack of empathy on certain members of staff I could continue Alastair

    After being seen in Cardiology clinic on 1st December with a newly diagnosed large aortic aneurysm I was told I needed an urgent echocardiogram. My daughter was with me and heard the same. I am now being told this won't be until April and the doctor I saw said he doesn't remember saying "urgent". It's truly terrifying not knowing what my heart valves are doing and living with a large aneurysm. I have emailed pils on two separate occasions with no response. I then printed my email and posted it first class, signature required. Still no response, not even a basic acknowledgement.

    My first visit to the rapid access chest pain clinic as an Out patient. Welcomed and processed through on arrival. ECG ( extremely efficient & professional attitude)then assessed by a Cardiology specialist Nurse. So knowledgeable & reassuring. This whole experience makes you realise how great is the NHS. Thank you.

    Had a 5 day stay in glenfield hospital visiting the emergency day center , cdu then ward 23a. I cannot fault the professionalism, thoroughness and care from the staff .

    My wife was admitted to CDU on 08/09 December 2022 All staff were very attentive and hardworking, some struggling with their own health. I cannot praise everyone enough from the ambulance crew through to all the staff including house keeping. Please know I appreciate all you do. May you have a blessed and peaceful Christmas.

    I went on to ward 15 to wait for a pacemaker to be fitted and also to have surgery to have a heart stent fitted The Nurses were brilliant, and remained calm doing the caring of this mens ward It made me relax before having surgery 5 out of 5 marks

    Today I went in for a day procedure to have my ilr removed on Ward 32. The whole team from start to finish was wonderful at helping me with my individual needs. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to look after me. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable whilst waiting, during my procedure and also after. I couldn’t have asked for better care or empathy. Thank you very much to you all.
