My son and I took my husband to A&E as we were very anxious that he may be experiencing a stroke. It was obvious that the department was very busy. Nevertheless, the care and service was first rate. Every member of staff that we interfaced with treated us with professionalism, respect, kindness and compassion.

I attended the Endoscopy Unit at Good Hope for a colonoscopy. I had been rather anxious about the procedure but the kindness and expertise of all the staff was second to none. I was so impressed and very grateful for their professional skills, care and ability to put me at ease. Many thanks to all concerned in the Endoscopy Unit.

I broke my wrist in May and attended the fracture clinic several times. I was most impressed with the service I received. Every time I arrived I was sent for an X-ray. It was a very short wait every time for the X-ray. When I returned to the fracture clinic it was only a short wait again before being called in to see a doctor, who by then had the X-ray in front of him. I couldn’t fault the care I had from the doctors I saw there. They were all friendly, caring and helpful. It seemed to me a very well run clinic.

Friendly staff, in particular the staff in the plaster room were so helpful and re-assuring, friendly, nothing too much trouble to help. This is the second time I have attended this department, and can't praise the staff enough. My whole experience so far has been excellent, the gentleman at the entrance so helpful, all the administration staff welcoming, Doctors helpful, giving me all the information I needed. X-ray dept excellent. Many thanks to all concerned at Good Hope Hospital.

I attended for a number of weeks ending in July 22. When I started my treatment, I had severe backpain, the physio was extremely good, and the exercises have worked wonders (I still do them every day). Nothing was too much trouble and I just wanted to thank her. The NHS don't get the credit they deserve for the work they do, however, I really appreciated it.

Review titled Reviewed and assessed quickly

My 3 year old developed a bad wheeze while we were visiting the UK for a few days. We phoned the NHS out of hours number as recommended by our hotel. A paramedic triaged over the phone and sent out an ambulance and we were brought to Paeds A&E in Sutton and Coldfield Hospital. We were reviewed and assessed extremely quickly by nursing staff and Consultant and received treatment. After 4 hrs admittes to Ward 6 Paeds ward where again we were triaged quickly and reviewed by Consultant, doctors and nurses. I was so impressed with the service we received.

My husband was referred for Prostate Assesment from GP in July 2022 and as of January 2023 has not received an appointment. He was treated for Prostate Cancer in 2005 and concerns about his psa level have been raised. With all publicity urging men to get checked out asap and also his history I think he should have been sent for by now. I have tried ringing but its a nightmare to get through to even to the main reception.

As I am housebound I requested my appointment be changed and instead I have been discharged as I “failed to attend “ even though I had informed them I was housebound

I gave birth to my beautiful daughter at good hope hospital, as she was my first I didn't know what to expect but the care and support I received was outstanding! From start to finish I had the same two midwifes (one being a student who was that confident I would not have said she was a student!) They were both able to read my body language and do exactly what I needed them to do without me saying a word! Baby was back to back so I was in a lot of pain but they done everything possible to help and explained everything before they done it and gained my consent, I never once felt that me or my baby were at any risk and when we got home I found a lovely note off the midwifes in my baby's red book which was such a lovely touch! I just wanted a chance to say a massive thank you and hopefully my two amazing midwifes see this because they honestly deserve so much praise for the way they looked after me!
