We arrived on Sunday morning and was seen and treated within the hour. The nurse who treated my daughter was kind and compassionate and triage was quick too. Highly recommend.

Review titled Urgent treatment centre triage nurse
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 24 January 2024
My son has just been in minor injuries due to a head injury, the nurse who dealt with him was lovely and very helpful. However the nurse that triaged him I found quite rude and patronising, this was around 11pm on 24/01/24. She asked if he passed out and due to accident happening at nursery I said I wasn't sure but was told he went very white and quiet, she then proceeded to tell me "if someone is standing up and fallen to the ground, they've passed out, if they're sitting up and fall down, they've passed out, along with other comments and definitions explaining how I would know someone has passed out. These comments were obviously very patronising and she was aware I wasn't with my son at the time of the accident so it is fair to say it did annoy me. I work as a receptionist for the NHS and I would never speak to someone in this manor. My son also bled a lot and I said I was aware head injuries bleed a lot but due to the nursery workers all advising he gets medical attention that's what im doing, she looked at his head and went "its just a scratch", which considering the amount of blood his school clothes were soaked with and the hole he ended up having to get glued was just another unnecessary comment that felt so patronising. Again all the other staff were lovely and very helpful, this woman however didn't give a good impression.

Review titled No confidentiality
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 12 December 2023
No privacy at all when talking to the receptionist. Have to speak loudly due to plastic partition. Everyone can hear all your information. We sat at the back of the waiting room and could hear everything! Bearing in mind we were there for an injury (most there as they can't see GP!), triage nurse was abrupt and rude to my daughter. Nurse in treatment area ok but seemed in a rush. Disappointed.

Review titled Weekend medical problem
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Chris Oxford - Posted on 03 December 2023
I was treated rapidly and with compassion, courtesy and professionalism by all the staff I came into contact with. They were able to supply prescriptions for the medication that was later to solve my problem. It is with great regret that many Doctor's Surgeries cannot provide the same faultless service. Thank you all.

Review titled Excellent experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mike bruno - Posted on 11 November 2023
I attended the urgent care centre after injuring my calf playing squash and have to say it was an all round excellent experience. After checking in I was triaged by a very friendly chap, and about an hour later despite the waiting room being busy and a steady stream of people coming in, I was seen by another really friendly person who treated me and supplied me with crutches and excellent advice. I was prepared to have been there for hours but I was in and out in an hour and a half.

Parent had an accident at home. Was asked to go to a&e. I called the community hospital and they were happy to see us. Assessed, treated and discharged within an hour and saved us an unnecessary a&e trip. Highly recommend this service.

Review titled Phones ignored
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 07 April 2023
I had to visit urgent centre at Gravesham community on the 7th of April. I called the reception on the number on the website, a gentleman pickup up and then the line dropped. I thought it was an error. I went to the centre, while waiting to be seen, i was waiting in the main corridor, the phone rang. The gentleman who was sitting there picked up the phone and said hello and then put the phone back. So it wasn’t an error, he just put the phone down and carried on sitting on his mobile phone.

Review titled Not happy staff today
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 January 2023
Generally, level of care and service very good. Cheery. Today all seemed unhappy, i felt as if I was intruding, shouldn't of been there. Very basic , didn't really find out much what I went for totally. Possibly having an off day and pushed for resources, sympathise, We have to be pleasant and polite, but the profession they are in is at least a caring service. But today just didn't feel like it. Sorry. Thanks for what I did receive
