Review titled Bad Practise
Rated 1 star out of 5

I recommend avoiding it. Building poorly design and waiting rooms are very narrow. Rude staff. When I said I was worried about chest infection she told me to go GP and I can't go see the doctor. It was Saturday.

Had a lovely caring experience in Eye depth. For my operation. From the doctors. Nurses, drivers and ward staff. Operation went well but staff really put me at ease. Big thank you

Review titled poor communication
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by SINEAD BAILEY - Posted on 14 December 2023
My mother was referred to the Dermatology unit two months ago, after being referred by a hospital doctor. However, despite attempts to contact the unit, I have been unable to reach anyone for the past two weeks. The unit does not provide an answer phone or email address to leave a message for them to call back. My mother's feet are sore to the point that she has difficulty walking, and I am afraid we may have to take her to A&E if we cannot receive help soon. The lack of communication with the Dermatology unit has been extremely upsetting, and we desperately need answers.

I dislocated my shoulder at 18:00 on 01/12/2023 and was brought to A&E by ambulance. I just like to thank all the staff that helped me. Very friendly, professional, great empathy and really made a very painful experience pleasant. I would have liked to have been treated quicker, but I understand I was not the only patient there and every patient in the treatment room had serious conditions.

Hi, Waiting for appointment since 3 months. Did not get any confirmation around appointments of 6th and 17th November. Just received the text message that why you did not attend the appointment. Then I received letter that ur appinemtn is on 30th Nov. I went to attend the appinemtn and I been told my name is not in the system. I spoke with demetology department manager and she apologised for all confused and she booked my appointment on 9th December. I was prepared to attend the appointment and again I got text message saying due to system issue my appinement has cancelled. I am really not happy with all this dramas. Not sure how NHS managing their systems, appointments and patients.

I got referred to oral surgery in February 2023 by May 2023 I still hadn't heard anything, so I contacted them and they said they hadn't received a referral. Upon speaking to my dentist they printed a copy of the referral that was sent and sent another referral, by July 2023 the same thing was said, so the same was done again, we are now in November 2023 and still no appointment and they don't even answer the phone. Absolutely appalling

Review titled Caring and Professional staffs

I delivered a baby in Midwifery led unit at Hillingdon hospital in November 2023. My birthing midwives were very caring, compassionate and professional. After getting discharged to home, the community level service from midwives and health visitor is remarkable. They are always around to support you and your baby. Maternity triage service needs improvement in advising patients and also regarding timely admission of patients into labour ward. With couple of improvements the hospital can attain better CQC ratings.
