Review titled Very unorganised
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Jiwan kenth - Posted on 05 January 2023
I'm a cancer patient and developed new condition. Sent to A&E by GP, after 7 hours seen by a nurse. After another hour contacted them to be seen. Explained to AE doctor my condition and made my blood test results from other hospital. After an hour a registrar came and explained that they don't have qualified nurse on duty even next day and he wasn't sure about the protocol of this particular disease as in his country south Africa its different. Discharged After ten hours in the early hours of morning. Awaited call from the nurse till midday but no communication. Went to another hospital Ae and they went through everything and i will be treated there.

I encountered numerous staff during my time here and each and everyone was friendly, caring, smiling and comforting. This made my experience here much more comfortable and I appreciate the help each and every member of staff gave me as I know it's not easy working long hours and giving everyone the same level of care. I want to thank the staff sincerely.

I’m Nina Daniels I had the pleasure of being looked after by Dr Shanker, and Regina, Karen. I am 89 years old. I would recommend this to the king of England as they were absolutely wonderful. I had the pleasure of having the last three years by the same wonderful employees. They were wonderful, thank you so much and happy Christmas. Best wishes Nina Daniels

Review titled There seems to a be disarray in the dispatch section.
by A supporter of NHS - Posted on 19 December 2022
I stayed as an inpatient in Hayes Ward for 8 days. I thank all the Doctors Nurses and carers who made my stay a happy experience. I thank the Physiotherapists and the catering staff for there in service making my stay safe aiding me to recover fast, the carers from all over the world do a marvelous job. On the day I was discharged I was hastily collected by the team in charge of discharge department and was taken to the departure area. I stayed there for 8 hours when finally I received the 4 items of medication and dispatched home in an ambulance. This was the only adverse condition I underwent. There seems to a be disarray in the Dispatch section. Hope the management improves this sector.

Ambulance Service. Very pleased with how the team of 3 dealt with my elderly father when we had to call 999 following an accident to his foot . Their approach was kind and patient as they explained why they couldn’t treat the injury at home and a hospital visit was necessary. They were also very helpful and made referrals for assistance regarding future care. Many thanks.

Review titled Amazing care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Stephen Cassidy - Posted on 07 December 2022
On a visit to the United Kingdom from the United States I was unfortunate to get a piece of chicken stuck in my esophagus. I couldn't swallow solids or liquids. Despite all the negative things that I have heard said about the National Health Service, the service was amazing! Registration was efficient and courteous. Within minutes I was referred to Accident & Emergency. Within a couple of hours, I had been assessed and received X-Rays and was seeing a doctor. After non-invasive techniques to clear the blockage were unsuccessful, a consultant admitted me to a specialist ward. I was treated effectively, taken to recovery and discharged that evening. Within 11 hours I was on my way with a full and detailed report of everything that had been performed and all test results. Everyone I met was fabulous. Everyone was caring and courteous. I have nothing but praise for the National Health Service, the hospital and, of course, the staff. I also need to say a huge "thank you" to everyone who attended to me.
