Review titled Rude reception nice staff
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Fizzy - Posted on 24 September 2024
The waiting time at this hospital is absolutely ridiculous The staff are nice , The receptionist are rude, horrible, and full of attitude I’ve been waiting to see a doctor for four hours for the last three of them. I’ve been told on the fifth and the line. But everyone is still being seen my experience is absolutely disgusting

Review titled Unbelievably long wait and rude staff
Rated 1 star out of 5

After explaining that I have a ligament issue, i was sent to get an X-ray. Shortly after I was told there's nothing there (go figure). Waited 5+ hours and left with it's all in your head. That's the level of qualifications and professionalism ahead of you, reader.

Review titled Great practice!
Rated 5 stars out of 5

It was my first time in the hospital for this type procedure and I am extremely happy for the service that nurses provided. Everyone was very helpful and understanding, explaining everything what I asked. Highly recommend. Specially the nurses, you all made me feel comfortable and hold my hand and telling what is going on every minute as well. Thank you all so much.

I had to go to a&e.111 sent me there. I went to homerton because it was friendlier and quicker than royal london. I walked in and was seen straight away. Longest i had to wait was 1 hour because doctors were very busy. Staff couldn't do enough for me from start to finish. He said we have to keep you in overnight

Review titled Thank you everyone in children's A&E this morning.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Florence and mum. - Posted on 01 June 2024
I can't thank the team who looked after us today in children's A&E department. We came in around 6.30am to a clean area with very engaging members of staff. We were seen shortly after 9am by a doctor who was kind, thorough and explained everything that he was doing. He made my daughter and I feel so at ease. After a check and reassurance that I had done the right thing following my instincts, he prescribed us antibiotics and gave us follow up information on what to do next. We are now snuggled up at home resting and recovering. Thank you all so much!

Review titled Paediatric a&e
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Caitlin - Posted on 01 June 2024
We attended a&e on Saturday 1st June with my 7 month old baby who was unwell. I felt the care was really great from the triage nurse who saw us within seconds of arriving. She alerted the medical team about her concerns and they saw us very quickly. We were assessed by a clinical fellow and then two registrars. I felt very reassured by all of them, they were careful , thorough, and explained everything really well. I was visiting from Scotland and just hope that this feedback reaches the staff we saw as I know it can be a tough job. Thanks again ,

Review titled A mix of underfunded and incompetent.
Rated 1 star out of 5

I was sent to this a&e by 111. I waited 6 hours to be told my chest pains were just anxiety, without any investigation aside from an ECG when I got there. Two days later I ended up in a different a&e because my symptoms hadn't improved. I actually had a nasty chest infection that needed antibiotic treatment. If I'd have listened to their advice and not sought further medical treatment, my doctor was quite sure I'd have gotten a bad case of pneumonia. There's underfunding leading to slipping standards, and then there's ergigious medical malpractice. This place is an unhealthy mix of both. I'd avoid if you can.

Review titled Appointment disappears
Rated 1 star out of 5

Feels like trying to help their patients is an idea completely unknown there. Changing a face-to-face appointment regarding an importont surgical procedure into a telephone one and then not calling... A disgrace!
