Review titled Professional and kind experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Adam F - Posted on 04 May 2024
My wife had an elective c- section for our first baby due, and the Homerton team were wonderful - from doctors pre-surgery to the whole surgery team and maternity ward. Despite being extremely busy, they made you feel like you had their full attention as they talked you through everything in detail. Thanks to all the team involved for taking a lot of stress out of the whole process. 💚 NHS

Review titled Reception and Nurse are great but not the doctor I met
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Tran - Posted on 05 May 2024
I mentioned to nurse that I have severely headache (9/10) but doctor talked to me less than 2 mins and guest I may have UTI thats why there is fever. But he ignored my headaches. He asked nothing about eyes or sweat but reported “ no sweat no photophobia” whereas the nurse can tell I wear sunglasses to comfort my eyes. I dont tend to overactted so even was so exhausted I look fine. Im so concern about my head as its swollen when the headache comes but no scan or further check only urine test!

I had two lovely staff working in reception who helped me a lot and the Senior Doctor on shift was very amazing too. The staff at Homerton were very kind and I felt as I was taken care of very well.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended the Allgery Clinic on 11 April and the staff were fantastic. I was late for my appointment due to parking and they were so accommodating, even the Dr was fantastic. I cannot thank the staff including the Admin team, enough for everything they did for me. I was so reassured and cannot thank them staff/ Dr enough. Fantastic service.

I had a removal of my wisdom tooth 2 days ago, the process was swift. From the day surgery nurses to the anaesthetics team, theatre team and maxillofacial team, everyone was so friendly. I was so grateful for the care I received and I was in great hands. Thank you all

Review titled Great service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Julie Anthony - Posted on 01 April 2024
Had to go to the urgent care centre. I was seen very quickly. Staff was really nice and helpful. The nurse that dealt with me was very polite, sympathetic, and very helpful. I left the centre feeling much better about by medical issue.

Review titled Great practice , professionalism and care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Emma Johnson - Posted on 04 April 2024
We came for a planned c section, we were greeted by the ward manager who was professional, kind, caring and thorough. The staff whilst we waited for the c section were approachable and helpful. The team who completed the c section made us feel safe and secure and really helped to alleviate anxiety, the experience was beautiful thanks to them. The recovery staff were kind and helpful , when we returned to the ward, the midwives and assistants were attentive, thorough, mother and baby centred , kind and patient. We were on the ward for 24 hours and we really could not have asked for more, we felt so looked after. I work as a senior manager in the NHS and I highly recommend and commend the systems, care, safety, hygiene , professionalism , skill set and processes on this ward. The ward manager runs a tight ship and her staff follow suit. The medical team were also fabulous, the anaesthetist was especially great, talking me through step by step throughout the op. Thank you , we are so grateful, it's the best experience I have had as a patient in the NHS

Review titled Post bariatric surgery care.
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 26 February 2024
Had bariatric surgery and difficult recovery after, Priestley ward nurses and care staff not so helpful and kind. Very noisy place for recovery ,staff very loud, visitors enormous amount for one bed and loud, nurses doesn't care about it.. Warning signs says 2 visitors per bed and no phones, there was 6 and all talking at the same time staying for half of the day. Staff has time about planning their annual leave time on computer and holidays time. But when calling them, takes time to attend patient, get up from the chair and end their conversation. No kindness towards patients. Doctors, physicians, bariatric nurses very helpful and kin, but the rest Priestley ward staff need more kindness towards patients. 4 out of 10
