Review titled The worst Emergency service ever
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 29 November 2024
Backstory: 111 was called at around 10am. I was called back at around 4pm. Left the house immediately after to head to Barking community hospital which after a blood pressure and temperature test I was sent to King George’s hospital. I have been in this hospital waiting for a blood test result for 10 hours, they take 1 hour to speak to each patient which is very inefficient, it should not take that long. They have given stuff to reduce the pain but it has not helped much. After waiting 9 hours and a half I requested to get a copy of my blood test results which they said was ready hours ago, to which they denied. I have a degree in biomedical science and can read the results. They are extremely understaffed and inefficient.

Review titled Avoid the “Emergency” department

*Edited* Backstory: 111 was called at around 10am. After waiting 9 hours and a half I requested to get a copy of my blood test results which they said was ready hours ago, to which they denied. I have a degree in biomedical science and can read the results. They are extremely understaffed and inefficient. I’d avoid if you need urgent care because you won’t be seen until the next day. You are left in a waiting room for them to call you with no food just snacks and drinks. My sister has come home from work to take me and has not eaten since 11 am and I have not had food for hours making both of us feel as if we were going to pass out. NHS needs more Doctors in the Emergency department, otherwise change the name because this is most definitely not treated like an emergency. How can 111 say leave now, and we’re outside for 12 hours, feeling worse than we were when we were at home.

Face to face appointment at last!!Dr was really informative and explained my condition in great detail. He examined and he able to explain what was going on. This has been a huge comfort to me. Nurse attending was brilliant also. Thank you so much Cardiology team.

I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude and to commend (Service Number K324) for the outstanding service they provided during a recent emergency. Their professionalism, dedication, and compassion in handling the situation exceeded all expectations and left a lasting impression on me. From the moment they arrived, demonstrated exceptional skill and composure, ensuring the safety and well-being of all those affected. Their ability to assess the situation quickly and make informed decisions showcased their expertise and training. Moreover, their empathetic communication provided much-needed reassurance during a highly stressful time. Review titled Gynaecology Laurel Unit Receptionist
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 12 November 2024
Visited king George on the 11/11/24, Gynaecology Laurel Unit, arrived around 14.20 entered the ward and approached the receptionist on the right, I said hello and told the receptionist we have an appointment, my God was met with a stone faced miserable girl who didn't even acknowledge me, didn't even look up and just shouted at me "go through the double doors" I was in shock and astonished at this behaviour, absolutely no care or compassion for a patient, hospital is a place we go to when in need, patients do not want to be greeted with no manners and rudeness, the woman was a young white woman wearing glasses (works at the desk on the right as soon as you walk into the the Laurel Unit), I shall be putting in an email to the hospital ward, hope management take disciplinary action as this is out of order.

Review titled Scary experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mimi - Posted on 08 October 2024
I went to the old laundry building, room 2 for ID issuance. I almost fainted on getting to the door. It's fierce objects and skulls that welcome you. Is the office operated by wizards? We need a professional experience and kindly have this acted upon

Review titled Ultrasound scan
Rated 1 star out of 5

I went for my scan on 29 September and it was an horrible experience. The lady who did my scan was so rude. She told me to undress myself in front of her which was a bit awkward to me. I asked her few questions before scan as I was bit nervous but she replied so rudely and was literally shouting on me. The transvaginal scans are bit uncomfortable so I think they should be little bit patient.

Review titled Worst hospital and worst staff
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Tania Khan - Posted on 30 September 2024
I had my Scan at King George Hospital and took me approximately half an hour to find the exact location because the staf sent me wrong directions. I came to the hospital after travelling 2 hours in this condition. They sent me back with their silly attitude that they don't have any record as It was clearly mentioned on my file. All the staf members need to learn basic manners and some politeness. Worst experience ever
