  1. Review titled Absolutely fantastic

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was sent here by my GP today. I cannot thank all the staff who I have met and who have been involved in my care today. The specialist nurse who came to see me was just amazing, explained things in such simple terms with no jargon, drew me a picture of what was happening to help me and made me feel so at ease about the entire situation. The HCAs were also phenomenal. Even walking me out of A&E on discharge and waiting whilst my mum fetched the car. Cannot fault the cleanliness or the staff today and certainly can't thank them enough for making me feel well looked after and reassuring me I needed to be there and I wasn't wasting their time.

The parking to drop off isn't good cars left and double parking is awful and people smoking it's not good especially under your no smoking advert cigarette buts all over last week there was a security man moving cars on and asking people to move away with there smoking very tactful and very polite.

  3. Review titled Amazing Nurses - great bedside manner

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I’ve just been in after nearly cutting my finger off in a bike wheel. I was seen to immediately and from the very first moment they did their best to take my mind off it by making me laugh, absolutely brilliant. Then to X-ray and to glue it up and again all of the ladies were just brilliant and made me feel so much better. I wish could name them for this review but read I can’t. NHS gets a lot of bad press but there are some genuinely great people working there and if you read this thank you so much.

  5. Review titled Very poor treatment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Daughter in law attended in extreme agony and vomiting. The dr stated it was gastroenteritis No pain relief offered for almost 2 hours and not examined for the same amount of time. Blood pressure extremely low and told it was normal by the dr. Dr advised that going home would be the best option so she would not catch infection from elderly patients. Pain relief was asked for several times and one nurse stating she would come after two jobs she had. The nurse was then heard and seen stating she was going on break and never came to tend to her pain. Dr stated she was very dehydrated and gave paracetamol for excruciating pain and did not help the pain at all. After stating we knew something serious was wrong, the dr decided to keep her in and arrange a scan. The scan revealed inflamed, infected and leaking appendix and had to go to surgery the same day. This is quite clear if she had done what the dr had advised by going home, she would not be here today.

  7. Review titled Excellent level of care

My mum was taken to kingsmill by ambulance, and they were fantastic from when they arrived at her home all the way to hospital. Once inside A and E majors, all the staff, (nurses, porters , x ray/scan, occupational therapy, etc, were brilliant with their care, understanding mums needs, giving information and explaining everything).

Had a mri in 2017 and got told it was all clear then in June last year I had another mri and they've told me about the cyst and it was there since 2017 but nothing was said. Rang up a couple of days ago to chase up what what happening and they have no records of the cyst and they've discharged me without letting me know
