    I had the unfortunate experience of having to spend a night on SAU waiting for surgery and being left in agony all night with pain relief that didn’t help and required something stronger, two doctors refusing to see me despite haemorrhaging. I couldnt walk, use the bathroom and had to drink water out of the tap. Only when family contacted senior management at the hospital did anyone bother to come and help. Don’t want to sound dramatic but psychologically this event has effected me and should have been avoided. The nurses may have been limited on what they could do but more should have been done especially the ward doctors

    Wanted to thank the whole team that looked after me during colonoscopy investigation on 6th Nov. They were brilliant explained everything well put me ease and talked through results.

    Attended A&E via 111, 5 hours to be triaged, then sent to Meddoc to find a 7 Hour wait. Not enough chairs for unwell pts to sit on, really, really distressed pts who are not acknowledged by passing health care staff or offered kind words. Broken service from start to finish, there has to be a better way of working as after what I experienced it’s clearly not this.

    My mother severely Alzheimer's dementia and heart disease patient left in wet clothes unattended without food or drink on the corridor no nurse in charge over 16 hours. I had tears in my eyes seeing her and other elderly patients. They were trying to get everyone's attention passing by, so desperate and feed up waiting for a bed in ward. People go to hospital to get better seeing this helpless people including my mother I was helpless too when asked one pushed me to another did not want to take responsibility. God help us all from this kind of service.

    Had a dental x ray today and expected to be waiting a few hours, I was in and out within 10 minutes. Lovely staff welcomed me and was very kind

    My elderly mother came to the ED Majors department where she was treated with respect and promptly assessed. She was then admitted to the Kingfisher ward where she received excellent care from all the nursing and auxiliary staff. Thank you all so much for that. One comment I would like to make - It would have been helpful to me as next of kin and concerned daughter, if the doctor /registrar for the ward contacted me at some point in her 9 day stay ,to inform me of their thoughts on her condition and likely ways forward in her treatment. I do appreciate how busy the staff are though ,maybe they could delegate that. Thank you again to all staff and to the team that eventually treated mum, moving her into Pembroke ward after surgery, where I will review after her stay has ended and treatment completed.

    went to Pre op care unit arrived at 11am .Given no up dates from nurses then told at 2:45 my operation has been cancelled .Now i have to go through it all again

    I had a procedure today in which I was initially very nervous about, however the clinician and nurses were extremely kind and friendly which put me at ease throughout and made my experience much better than it otherwise would have been. I am very grateful and would highly recommend.

    Poor care within Kent ward maternity ward Rude staff No advice, lack of support No compassion and discussions of patients on ward near office areas and corridors which breaches confidentiality
