Review titled Great practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by I Thomson - Posted on 11 December 2023
Excellent quick service in the urgent treatment center for my foot which I thought I had damaged. It was looked at very quicky and professionally. I was sent for an x-ray which revealed I hadn't broken any bones, also seen very quickly... I was given a diagnosis and some literature and exercise for my soft tissue injury... Thank you all for your kindness and excellent service... Took me longer to get there and back from home, than the time in the hospital... X

Review titled Thankyou

My child attended the minor injuries unit Friday 15th, he has additional needs and finds experiences like this very stressful. The staff on shift were brilliant with him, so patient and kind, they really seemed to understand his needs and the way they spoke to him instantly put him at ease. We’re very lucky to have such a brilliant efficient service locally. In a little over one hour we had been assessed, xray’d, reviewed, commenced the necessary treatment and got a referral to the fracture clinic. Thankyou so much

Review titled Condescending and unhelpful
Rated 2 stars out of 5

I visited the pain management clinic today and wasn’t expecting much really but the doctor made me feel like my issues were unworthy of his time. My pain might not have been as bad as some but his diagnosis was “get another job” I already struggle at work and have been looking for a while because the constant pain is a nightmare but he made me feel like I was wasting his time and just kept saying you’ll have to get another job, as an after thought he told me I could try steroid injections if “ I ‘“ wanted but that was it, I’m quite pain tolerant but this constant pain is relentless and getting me down and after he shrugged me off I left the building and cried I felt so low and let down with his attention. I didn’t even ask to go there my doctor referred me because he thought I warranted it I never want to go back there I will just go back to the constant pill popping to ease the pain

I had a cataract procedure on 22nd. June 2023. The surgeon and his team were so kind, considerate and totally professional. They talked to me throughout the procedure and put me at ease from the start. It was a successful outcome and I would like to thank them here for all their help.

Review titled Excellent Service and Care

I visited this hospital today after a fall with a supected arm injury. We arrived at 10.30am and by 1.00pm I was back home all sorted. I had to have an x ray to confirm I had broken my elbow and a nurse then put me a sling on and explained what I needed to do in the coming days. Every single person I saw was very kind and professional and the waiting time was excellent. Well done Montagu Staff don’t ever change. I have read some very negative reviews of this hospital but I had no reason what so ever to complain.

Review titled Turned away with no empathy
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Louise G - Posted on 13 June 2023
My partner has been to the doctors today, feeling dizzy, sick and unable to stand/walk. He had been given a letter by his GP to attend A&E to identify the cause. On arrival the receptionist said ‘what do you want?’ I tried to hand over the letter from the GP which the lady didn’t open and said what you brought him here for? I presume she thought he was drunk. I explained what had happened at the doctors and was asked ‘well what is wrong with him?’ I explained I didn’t know and we wanted to see if someone could help. She continued to be rude and was raising her voice to ask what was wrong with him. She said you need A&E as we have no doctors and are just for minor injuries. She had no empathy and refused to even offer any advice or support and asked us to leave. He couldn’t Stand so I had to ask him to sit and wait until I brought the car around. I drove to Doncaster A&E where we received amazing treatment, support and were greeted with a smile. My partner is now at home with medication for an ear infection and fluid behind his ears.
