My Husband had an accident today. Our first ever experience of N&N A&E has been wonderful. The professionalism, care and speed of his care was outstanding. Thank you to all the A&E staff, you are amazing.

opm service, I visited,the care from nurse, doctor and physio was outstanding. They were so kind and thoughtful and came up with things that could help me moving on. I cannot praise them enough.

I was terrified about impending surgery but the Nelson Day Unit nurse invited me in beforehand and talked me through what to expect and was very reassuring and made sure I got an appointment with my surgeon for the remaining questions I had. He was brilliant and helped me so much with pre and post op advice, as well as explaining risks and hoped for outcomes. The Nelson Day Unit is a very calm and reassuring place to be and I felt I was in good hands with highly skilled, friendly and confident staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them (at least that it how it felt to me) and I felt safe and protected. After-care has been of the highest quality too with the doctor and the secretaries responding within hours. I’m extremely impressed!

After brilliant and swift assessment in A&E, I was moved on to an AMU ward. What an awful experience. Of the 6 beds, 2 were occupied with ladies with severe dementia. They were screaming all night meaning no sleep for the rest of us. Thankfully, I was moved to a specialist ward the next day, feeling much more ill than when I arrived due to lack of sleep. I was discharged the next day and slept for 18 hours when I got home. Everything about my hospital visit was excellent apart from the difficulty in getting peace for much needed sleep. I'm not sure what can be one about it apart from creating private rooms for these disruptive patients.

I have been to the eye clinic several times this year, as I have had two eye surgeries in 6 months. I was extremely nervous as everything about the experience was new to me, and I'm naturally scared of hospitals. However, every single person I met was wonderful, and I was very well looked after. This includes the receptionists and secretaries, nurses, porters, consultants and surgeons. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional and caring, putting me at ease and making the experiences as stress-free as possible. My surgeries were scheduled with very short wait times, and when I needed extra follow up appointments they were scheduled promptly, even if that meant squeezing me in before clinic officially started! My health and care was a number one priority. Both surgeries went smoothly thanks to the skills of the surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses etc. I cannot recommend the Eye Clinic enough!

Had to visit a&e last night after a nasty fall, staff were lovely especially the nurse who looked after me, she was very reassuring and got me some painkillers very quickly which I needed. Had an xray on my elbow and was in and out within an hour. Shame to have had to come in at all but couldn't have asked for more from the department. Many thanks!

I arrived at 10.05 on Sunday 2nd July, and had no wait before being checked in by friendly staff, then a two minutes' wait to have my details checked by admin staff, and another two minutes wait before seeing a practitioner nurse who directed me to a doctor where there was no wait, and I received superb, thorough and unhurried care from him. I left the hospital at 10.50am. Altogether, I cannot fault the visit, and I am extremely grateful to a dedicated staff. Thank you.

The lady behind the desk Sdec care unit who comforted me after getting upset was absolutely amazing, she made a real difference and deserves to be recognised for her undoubted kindness and patience. Could not have thanked her enough and deserves all the credit given.

The hospital discovered that I had a small tumour on my kidney and upon being informed I was given a date for the admission to hospital for an operation (keyhole) to remove the tumour. My treatment from diagnosis to the operation could not have been bettered. The staff were friendly but professional and I cannot praise the staff enough. Dilham ward where I went to after the operation did every thing they could to make my stay as comfortable as possible, the wards were clean and the food was ok. I really cannot thank the staff enough for the treatment I received and they even showed me how to self inject to avoid blood clots. Much is said about the NHS but my recent experiences have been nothing but positive and I am more than happy to give this review.
