Review titled Lovely professional treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by SusanT - Posted on 05 July 2022
I was referred with a lump in my breast. Each examination and scan was explained and I was treated by kindness by every person I met. In the end I had a cyst which was drained and despite my anxiety the treatment was quick and I was dealt with kindly and with understanding. The lovely nurse was encouraging and let me hold her hand. I was daunted before I went but honestly I was seen quickly and had such a positive experience.

Review titled My Angels in Blue who turned both our lives around
by Subo56 - Posted on 05 May 2023
The person I care for had a stroke in August 2022, and our lives changed overnight. He was released a few weeks later from the rehab unit at the Nottingham City Hospital on a Friday afternoon and I looked after him on my own over the weekend. I was absolutely terrified, as I thought this was it. What was I doing? This was my job now. However, the following Monday morning I received a call from the Stroke Team team above, my Angels in Blue who turned both our lives around. Neither of us could have done it without them. All of the team were immensely supportive and helpful. The person I care for started to become the person he once was. He will never fully regain his speech, but what we have now is miles and miles away from the position he was in after the Stroke. Thank you so much to all of the team.

Hi Subo56 Thank you for sharing your Patient Experience with us. You have been through what sounds like a very troubling time and one that I’m so very glad you felt so well supported with your care. We would like to take this opportunity to wish him well with his recovery and hope that he continues to go from strength to strength. Kind regards Kelly Morley -Patient experience officer

Review titled Everyone I have encountered has been absolutely lovely.
by missfleur - Posted on 20 July 2022
I am just over 12 weeks pregnant and have just tested positive for COVID. The care that I am receiving from NUH City Maternity and my community midwife is absolutely incredible. I feel so supported and very safe knowing that I am being monitored by people who really demonstrate that they care. I receive regular phone calls and was promptly sent a covid pack so that I can record my obs. I have no reservations about recommending NUH City Maternity as everyone that I have encountered so far have been absolutely lovely. Thank you

Review titled 1st class service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was admitted after my gp called the respiratory department. It was quite scary as I am young and never had a health problem like this before. All the staff were so kind and so professional. I felt like I was paying privately. My health issue was taken so seriously and I couldn’t have wished for better care. It made me so grateful for our NHS and I’m so happy to pay my contributions to it knowing that everyone no matter what they earn gets the same care. Thank you
