Review titled Above and beyond care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Katherine - Posted on 12 April 2024
Thankyou so much to the 2 ladies and the gentleman that looked after me yesterday on the 11th April 2024 on the nsau Spinal ward d8. They were so kind and patient with me being in so much pain and even kept us cheerful. This makes a huge difference when feeling at your most vulnerable and i feel they deserve an extra thankyou. They also make a great cuppa!

Was taken to hospital by ambulance at 4am on a Sunday 17th. A very busy time but I was looked after quickly. I was in severe pain and had a very serious infection in my gallbladder. All doctors and nurses were brilliant, giving their best to help and comfort me. I was on ward c31 for 5 days. Thank you to everybody.

Review titled A credit to the health service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Lynn - Posted on 20 March 2024
My elderly mum, who has advanced dementia, has just spent a week at the hospital. From admission into the isolation wing of the Emergency department, then onto ward d57, and finally onto b47 where she spent most of her stay, she was treated with dignity and respect. I want to give a special mention to Ward b47 where it is clear how well trained staff are in understanding the needs of elderly people with dementia. I saw nothing but kindness, patience and genuine affection from staff towards my mum, during the time she was on the ward. This considerably alleviated my anxiety about her being in an unfamiliar place for several days. Communication and information from the medical teams was really good and nothing was too much trouble for the nursing and auxiliary health care assistant team. Despite the pressures that we all know the health service is under. A really wonderful ward. Thank you.

Review titled Fantastic care and treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Dawn - Posted on 26 March 2024
I arrived with chest pain. Was quickly assessed and monitored. Then seen by a doctor for more tests and exams followed by fast treatment. Even though it was extremely busy, Everyone that saw to me was caring and took the time to explain what was happening and what they were doing. Putting my mind at ease during a very scary time. Amazing team from the moment I walked in. Can't thank them all enough
