I was seen as an outpatient in June and offered a date for surgery at that appointment. The surgery was a month later. I felt well cared for. I felt that I was able to make an informed decision about surgery and my expectations were managed appropriately. When I had a post operative issue, I was able to contact the ward and was called back promptly by the consultant. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have had two successful operations on my back at this hospital and found both the care in the hospital and the follow-up to be excellent. The staff were caring and helpful both before and after the operations and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was comfortable and private. I would recommend this hospital to others.

Having had a complicated hip replacement in June I could not have experienced better expertise & care from the whole team. Would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone requiring orthopaedic or spinal treatment.

I had a consultation with the doctor, followed by spinal surgery, which entailed an overnight stay. The care given by all the hospital staff was excellent, they were attentive, supportive, informative, cheerful and friendly. The hospital itself is well run, clean and comfortable. I was unaware of the hospital before i attended my appointment and i chose it due to the time from appointment to treatment. I'm very glad i did choose it as the care and treatment was second to none. I would definitely recommend the surgeon, the hospital and all the staff, to those requiring the same kind of treatment.

I underwent lumbar decompression surgery on my spine in 2023 which went very well, without complications during or post surgery; a tribute to the skill and experience of the surgeon working so close to the spinal chord. There was excellent continuity of patient care; the surgeon (Medical Director) who initially examined me carried out the surgery and gave follow on evaluation; the nurse who did the pre-op review was one of the nurses who gave me care during my overnight stay in the hospital and gave me a phone call a week later to check my progress and give advice. The doctor and nurses taking over on the night shift introduced themselves at the beginning of their shift as well so there was always a feeling of continuity which I think is important. Everyone had a kind, cheerful, caring and respectful attitude; I had hardly come to my senses after the operation before one of the nurses had phoned my wife to tell her that I was ok; superb. I was visited by the whole surgical team just after the surgery and I appreciate the care from each and every one of them. As I was only there for one night, the only food that I was interested in was breakfast and I found that to be excellent. This was my first stay in a hospital in my 77 years and I felt somewhat apprehensive initially but I was very well cared for.

I cannot express the amount of respect and gratitude I have for this hospital, it’s staff and its orthopaedic surgeon, I have visited several hospitals in my life, but never have I had the care. commitment and compassion that was given to me within my short stay. The hospital is small but your care and rehabilitation is paramount to them, although I cannot mention the surgeon’s name on here in my opinion he is the best, and again I can’t thank him enough, don’t opt for 2nd best insist on The orthopaedic and Spinal hospital Stirling rd Bretton Peterborough Kindest regards

Consultant was very genteel. Staff all polite and courteous. From consultation to procedure no waiting. No issues or concerns regarding procedure. By far the best service via NHS I have ever received. Hospital immaculately clean, staff very attendant. No waiting around, procedure completed and discharged home for recovery. My procedure was a complete success, spinal decompression surgery. There was some discomfort but I cannot say pain. I actually feel like a new woman and I am able to walk properly and for some distance for the first time in 2 years. I would definitely recommend this hospital for orthopaedic procedures to any of my family, friends or colleagues.

Having had an operation for spinal decompression I can only recommend the Clinic and express my gratitude to all of the staff for the amazing care I received. I received exceptional care and the results are looking good after on 3 days since the operation. My recommendation is unreserved.

All the staff were very professional, polite and friendly. Continually checking that pain was under control day & night. I was treated with respect and all relevant information was communicated to me.
