I had a right hip replacement end January 2023, I am 3 weeks post operation. This is my second operation at this wonderful hospital, having had spinal surgery November 2021. I can not say enough about the skill and knowledge of the surgeon, he explained everything and made my fears easier. After the operation he came and explained how it went and what to expect for recovery. His staff from the doctor, nurses, day and night, the physiotherapist the anaesthetist, the very cheerful man who took the x-rays, the chef, the lady who delivered the food and the lovely cleaning lady. The hospital was so comfortable, very clean and also homely which was good when you are worried and needed reassurance, after the operation everyone looked after me, and I felt safe and secure. I can only thank them all. Again the surgeon is amazing words can not say enough how grateful I am to him for his skill and expertise to fix me, and his wonderful staff.

Peterborough Orthopaedic and spine hospital is wonderful , I have received excellent treatment for my frozen shoulder problem. I would definitely recommend this hospital to my friends and family .

After a year of being in absolute agony I was fortunate enough to be referred to this wonderful hospital. I knew from my first consultation with my surgeon, and meeting members of the team, that I was going to be in safe and caring hands, which was particularly important as my anxiety level was extremely high. So now I'm one week in having had my operation on the 6th December and although I'm still in the early stages of recovery I already feel that I am beginning to get my quality of life back. The pain has diminished and I have gone from taking a lot of medication to control the pain to now only needing ibuprofen. My mobility is improving everyday with the exercises I have been asked to do by the hospital, and the appropriate rest. It is so wonderful to be able to do some of the everyday things we all take for granted such as being able to sit down for more than 20 minutes, putting on my socks, walking up and downstairs, getting a full night's sleep and generally feeling well in myself again. During my overnight stay I could not have asked for more caring, considerate staff. My room was fresh and comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who periodically checked my recovery. The anaesthetists were so kind and caring in the way they calmed and reassured me as I was very anxious as the surgery got closer. So all in all I just want to say a massive thank you to my amazing surgeon and all his wonderful team. I cannot recommend the Orthopaedics and Spine Specialist Hospital highly enough and I just want to express my heartfelt thanks.

My 2 night stay for a total hip replacement was excellent. Firstly and most importantly, the quality of the surgery was faultless and a tribute to the experience and skill of the surgeon. The nursing was at all times attentive and courteous. This is a hospital where the professionalism, expertise and calmness of all concerned gave great confidence and a flawless outcome.

The Orthopaedic and Spine Specialist Hospital has a good, clean environment. I would highly recommend it to everyone having had the best experience possible for a scary, spinal operation. Brilliant team of nurses and doctors, all so kind and considerate. As for my surgeon he is my hero. He has given me back my life and I cannot thank him enough. Brilliant.

Four weeks post surgery I am delighted with my mobility, lack of discomfort and a very tidy scar which healed remarkably quickly due to the exceptional skill and care of the surgeon and his team. From initial consultation, admittance and surgery to aftercare I felt/feel heard, safe, supported and reassured by everyone working as a team to give me the best opportunity of a positive outcome. Everyone at Ossh is respected and valued, this shines through in the delivery of a professional, reassuring experience in a clean, friendly, personal environment serving delicious fresh meals you look forward to! Prior to surgery I was a mess, unable to work or enjoy life due to pain, four weeks on I am planning a phased return to work, swimming again and especially looking forward to walking my dog. (I will be looking after my replacement hip, I promise). My experience at Ossh has genuinely changed my life and I cannot recommend them highly enough. To anyone considering surgery - make that call, you have nothing to lose Thankyou everyone at Ossh

From first seeing the Consultant, to having the operation to the follow up care, the care I have received has been excellent. I am a nurse myself and have high standards and expectations. The nursing care was exceptional. Very attentive, thoughtful and kind. I was very nervous and all the staff made me feel more at ease and explained everything well. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the food good. My scars are amazing, can hardly see them. The phone call I had when I had been at home for a day was a nice touch.

Looked after so well , from start to Finnish . A great team and a wonderful surgeon and anaesthetist . Had surgery to remove a damaged disk . Changed my life !! Back to full active life without any pain .

From the start, to the finish of my experience at the hospital, I was treated with care and consideration. Everything was explained to me in a way I could easily understand. The nurses were professional and courteous at all times. The consultant was just as professional and more than willing to answer any questions, and he made sure my mind was at ease about the operation I was there for. The after care has been excellent.
