  1. Review titled Amazing amazing amazing. Thank you.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Charlie Holloway - Posted on 17 March 2025

I just want to write a massive massive thank you to everybody that helped me within the A and E department at the Pruh this Saturday just gone (15th march 2025). The care I received was A1 and I cannot thank you all enough. I want to pass on my sincerest thanks to the three nurses who cared for me and put on my cast (I wish I could name them as I do know their names but the website won't let me leave reviews with names!) for their help and care. You are all amazing people and I was so lucky that it was you who was looking after me. I also want to thank the X-Ray team who were incredible as well. The paramedics that saw to me at Bromley South and took me to hospital in the ambulance were also absolutely amazing but I didn't get their names unfortunately but if you could also pass on my thanks to them if possible. I am truly truly thankful and grateful to The Pruh and to The NHS for being so caring to me and thankfully I am now feeling a lot better and both my hands seem to be recovering well. Thank you again and I truly owe you all one. Take care. - Charlie.

  2. Review titled Excellent hospital

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Suzanna Lawton - Posted on 10 February 2025

Excellent hospital with warm and professional care from every one of the approximately 20-30 staff I came into contact with during my stay. Urgent Care was a reasonable wait of under two hours with fast blood tests, consultation and move to Surgical Unit 8. There I was welcomed by lovely nurses who helped me settle in. The care and treatment I’ve had across urgent care, ultrasound and the surgical unit has been high quality, professional and even charming throughout for three days. Special thanks to the surgical unit ward staff who were so professional and caring despite being very busy. Immaculately clean ward, good facilities and decent food. Contact with Imaging Services was also excellent. Huge thanks to all.

  3. Review titled Why so long

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Colin Flegg - Posted on 24 February 2025

I couldn’t understand why I was in the unit for over 14hrs on Friday 21 from 5:45pm with extremely long periods between procedures whilst in severe pain - no expectation of waiting time to next event. No criticism of staff - V good when seen. In contrast when referred to the medical Unit 6/7 ? at 8:05 on 22/2 multiple procedures/consultations progressed quickly and I was able to be discharged within 4hrs. Excellent proficient and pleasant staff in all sections I visited. But - why such a difference in treatment times. I was exhausted afterwards and slept for 13hrs but slowly now recovering. Thank you.

  4. Review titled Endoscopy Great team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Julia Booth-Brockbanks - Posted on 19 October 2024

18 October 2034 I had a nasal endoscopy. I was very nervous and the procedure was uncomfortable. However the whole team from the nurse conducting the initial interview; and the fantastic team performing the scope and helping me with my nerves to the person giving me a cup of tea after the procedure, were absolutely charming and kind beyond words. Please congratulate them all

On Monday I had my gynaecologist surgery in the day unit. I suffer with anxiety and the nurses were so understanding and lovely. I felt so comfortable in their care and I couldn’t thank them enough. Especially R O N K E. The unit is so clean and tidy, and has amazing nurses.

  7. Review titled A&E -Excellent

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Janet Perkins - Posted on 03 October 2024

I took my son to the A&E —once for his broken arm and again for myself today. Each time, the level of care has been outstanding. Tonight, Dr. was incredible and truly focused on patient well-being. I'm fortunate to live close to this hospital, and I'm grateful for the excellent care I've received during every visit.

  9. Review titled Day Surgery Unit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Kath Lucken - Posted on 14 September 2024

Excellent experience in the day unit. The nursing staff and Dr were so friendly, welcoming and efficient. Everything was explained beforehand and I felt completely at ease. After only experiencing A&E and the medical ward at this hospital I was not looking forward to this at all but this unit is so clean, welcoming and efficient. Thank you to ask the staff.

  10. Review titled Wonderful support from nurses at the Day Surgery Unit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 September 2024

I had a really positive experience at the Day Surgery Unit (DSU) last week, despite this being in very difficult personal circumstances. The four nurses who played a part in looking after me during my time in the DSU were absolutely superb. I was on the ward for a long time and they were very attentive and reassuring throughout. A huge thanks to them for looking after me.
