I have left 3 messages on the 4167 Extension and 2 messages on the 4162 extension in the past two weeks. I am still waiting for a reply from either. I am trying to change a renewed telephone appointment

  2. Review titled A wonderful, caring team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Amy - Posted on 14 January 2024

My father suffered a stroke just before Christmas and died before New Year. From the moment he was admitted to the stroke ward, my whole family were impressed by the professionalism and kindness shown by the team. Everything was clearly and carefully communicated to us, and the consultant always made sure that we understood what was happening. The nurses were compassionate, helpful and committed to patient care. They did everything they could to make a very difficult time bearable, and we are indebted to them.

  4. Review titled Prescriptions

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I went into hospital at 7.30 am. Everything went smoothly the nurses doctors were really lovely. The only thing is I had to wait for a prescription for over 5hrs and still didn't get it. Surely it shouldn't take that long. Very unhappy I discharged myself and went to my own drs surgery

  5. Review titled Care of parents in nicu

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 05 November 2023

Miscommunication between staff and parents, staff can also come across rude at times, we have been moved around atleast twice a week, we eventually had a room in the nicu ward where we thought we would see rest of are stay but we got told we have to move somewhere else but they didnt have anywhere for us, and there had been other parents who have been in the rooms longer with there chid in a better position than are baby but still get us to move out, where we have now got to stay in a hotel because they have no accommodation for us which is a drive away from the hospital causing financial strain.

  6. Review titled Amazing Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Elizabeth Sandra Owen - Posted on 26 October 2023

I was booked in for a removal of lesion on lip and biopsy after my initial consultation. The staff from the receptionist to the team were all amazing from start to finish. They were so professional and reassuring at all times. They were friendly and knowledgeable. My lesion had gone down and I didn't need the surgery. They reassured me on every level that no treatment was required at this time. I cannot fault their reassurance or proffesionism and was so relieved that I didn't need the surgery. They fully explained why and booked me in for a telephone consultation in 6 months which was booked on the day and confirmed by secure message the next day. They went above and beyond and I was delighted with not just my good outcome but how they handled it well done to the whole team at Maxifacial QA you were amazing Xx

I went in for a colposcopy and lletz this morning at QA Gynae. I was terrified but the nurses were utterly amazing. Quick, efficient, caring, compassionate. I can't hand them enough praise for how comfortable they made me. Thank you so much.

I recently underwent day surgery. What a brilliant team of medical professionals! Everyone; the surgeon, theatre staff, and nursing staff went above and beyond to put me at ease as I wanted to be awake during the procedure.

  10. Review titled excellent treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Trevor - Posted on 25 October 2023

I was admitted by ambulance to a&e 05/0923 due to breathing difficulties caused by an adverse reaction to immunotherapy treatment. I was assessed fairly quickly and transferred to the critical care unit (e5) where I spent the next 5/6 days. I then spent the next 4/5 days in the respiratory high dependency unit (g5) until discharged 15/09.23. I have been improving every day since. In all 3 areas the treatment, both in terms of clinical treatment and the way everything was explained, could not be faulted and I cannot praise all of the staff highly enough. I was very quickly put at ease by all. thanks once again.
