I recently visited Renacres and was thoroughly impressed. I was very nervous about my surgery but the staff were so incredibly welcoming and caring, making me feel at ease and comfortable. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, contributing to a positive experience. I highly recommend this practice for anyone seeking quality care and a supportive environment.

I went to radiology yesterday for an injection. The young man was so kind professional and reassuring. Please thank him for me. My dignity came first and he put me at ease. Great experience. 16th October at 4pm

Hospital is in the title but unless you are a private patient be prepared to get rushed through a consultation so they can get their next paying patient in. Was referred to this hospital for what I thought would be a minor surgery and instead I was rushed through a consultation by a doctor whose advise to a perianal sinus was to “wash and shave the area”. This specific thing does not go away without surgery usually (especially not when you have had it for three years). After stating I would like the surgery he said he would refer me last minute as I was half way out the door. Still waiting on confirmation for the referral from the clinic and the doctor said “you might hear back in a couple of months”. Very concerning. Even from entering; the reception staff where very “over it” especially when you mention you are an NHS patient. If your GP refers you there I would suggest you ask them to chose another clinic.

It took 4 weeks to get an appointment for an MRI scan and I now have to wait 2 months to see the surgeon following my MRI. This is not acceptable. In the meanwhile I am left in pain with nothing but paracetamol and absolutely no idea of what is causing such awful life limiting pain or a resolution to the misery it causes me.

My knee replacement has been a disaster. I will say that the hospital treatment and care staff are 5 star. Amazing. Results - 1 star. My knee clicks with the slightest movement to the left/right, forward backwards, and movement. After 7month review I have been told this is normal!! I must accept it! Yet I know 3 people nearby me who have had this done and they don't have these issues. I can no longer cycle, swim, walk at pace, gym stepper, gym ski machine. Pain in bed if I work it too much. Lost mobility, cannot crouch down, my quality of life has gone backwards. Its totally depressing thinking I will be like this the rest of my life, a cripple, I wish I could go back to before the op.

Even though the staff are all overly, brilliant nurses and the doctors are brilliant - the waiting times are atrocious! Every single time I've come to Renacres I've waited over an hour to be seen; ridiculous, they over book and don't organise properly so you're left waiting absolutely ages in pain in waiting rooms to be seen !!!

I had a major problem with an admin issue. This was rectified professionally by the receptionist who showed concern and empathy. This restored my confidence in the hospital. I had been concerned as I’m awaiting surgery in the new year.

Supposed to be booked in for injections consultant told me to ring for a cancellation appointment rang to be told they would ring me back that was two weeks ago rang on 20th September to be told I was not even booked in from 5th September left in pain again

Hi first impressions of the hospital were good then changed with their communication and attitude My procedure was cancelled on the day they provided initially by letter through no fault of my own and then also a second time. Contacting the hospital proved to be extremely difficult and my calls were left unanswered and no direct email was available or provided. When I was contacted by them on withheld numbers the staff were always abrupt, The attitude of the staff was rude, discourteous, abrupt, bordering on arrogant! Each time I was contacted I was in work and explained this and just faced the same ongoing attitude. I suspect this is down to the fact I wasnt actually a paying private patient and had been referred by my GP! Was spoken to like I was burdening them and just an annoyance. All in all has left a very negative impression of what initially presents as as a nice professional hospital from the outside. A lovely building and great marketing give off a very good impression. Unfortunately this is then let down by staff attitude, poor telephone manner and just rude abrupt staff. Im sure if a few thousand pounds is being paid your journey may be a little different!! To sum up a, very negative experience from start to finish resulting in me cancelling all procedures and contact with the place. Staff attitude, politeness and communication is always key in any organisation and not only for people paying lots of money!
