Review titled What a lovely nurse
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Caroline parker - Posted on 28 March 2023
I would like to praise the nurse I saw at 1.30 on Sunday afternoon,I have had a terrible time with whitemoor doctors recently wouldnt even let me speak to my own doctor,I have had three weeks of a nasty urine infection nobody wanted to help,Isuffer anxiety very badly enough to make me retire,I phoned your centre and got an appt and from 1.30 my anxiety and troubles seemed a lot easier, your nurse was kind ,showed empathy, gave me time to explain what I had been through, she tested my urine, examined my tummy, asked appropriate questions within 15minutes she had made me feel like a person with a problem sorted not a problem to be got rid of like my doctors managed to do everytime I rang.I cannot praise your nurse enough she is a little dimond amoungst a world full of zirconium.

Review titled Interesting Experience
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Sian Myers - Posted on 02 March 2023
Attended the Urgent Treatment Centre as my Partner had a recurrence of Quincy. We were seen quite quickly and after a 10 second assessment were advised to attend Kimgs Mill Hospital a&e. No issues at all, apart from being given someone else's medical record summary to give to the hospital, if we hadn't checked the envelope before arriving and gone back to correct their mistake we would have looked rather stupid. Bit of a data protection breach to say the least.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback regarding your visit to Ripley Hospital. I am pleased to read that you had no issues with the care that you received, however, we are very sorry to read about the error with the medical record summary. This is not our usual standard of care and this has been forward on to the Service Manager. If you wish for your concern to be looked into further, please contact the Patient Experience Team on 01773 525119 or email DCHST.PatientExperienceTeam@nhs.net. Thank you

Visited Ripley Hospital this evening after slicing my finger through…. I was attended to with great professionalism and care. I was in and out of the unit within 30 minutes. The staff here and elsewhere throughout the NHS are amazing. Just want to thank you all for such a great local service

Review titled Rude staff
Rated 1 star out of 5

Spoken down to in a room full of patients waiting regarding my sons illness. No confidentiality at all and made to judge my own parenting when I fully know I was right and know my child better than anyone else. I was told shouldn't be there due to the problem being caused by my own parenting and nothing was wrong. 12 hours later in royal derby a&e and admitted onto a ward where will be here for atleast 1 week. Disgusting care, disgusting attitude and totally unacceptable way of speaking to a worried parent who clearly knew more than the practitioner regarding the health condition. While there heard many unacceptable things said other parents all within a public waiting area. A parent was asked why there child had no clothes on and he should be dressed , child had a temperature of 39.8 ( obviously everyone knew this due to no confidentiality ). My mind wonders how or why these practitioners are in a caring role when they clearly do not care.

Review titled Amazing service and staff.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Rachel Oliver - Posted on 10 December 2022
We went here following 111 giving us an appointment. They were so friendly. They were very thorough and reassuring towards my mum. She knew something wasn’t right and they reassured her that her feelings were correct. She had an instant referral to the right place and was made to feel very welcome and looked after. We cannot thank you enough.
