Review titled Where are my results?
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 04 March 2024
I’ve in been in and out of hospitals most of my life and when it comes to results, Rotherham hospital is the worst. I had a chest X-ray middle of January and was told I would get results back in 5 days. 8 weeks later and still nothing. How long does it take a dr to look at a scan and tell me the results? I’m not the only person who has to deal with this, it just feels like they just forget about you and not bother. I was also supposed to have an inhaler review, when enquired about it, no one knows anything even though hospital consultant gave it me on trial and said hospital to review. I don’t have confidence in this hospital and wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t get my results full stop. NHS once used to care, now they don’t.

Review titled Excellent service throughout
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Pauline Nettleship - Posted on 10 December 2023
From checking in I was treated with respect and courtesy and everyone explained the whole procedure to me slowly and precisely and also why I was having the particular procedure because of my health issues. I was more than happy with the care I received and everything was performed to perfection. I was extremely anxious but was soon put at ease and all went well. Thank you to all concerned. After care also was amazing, my nurse was fantastic and on the ward , Fitzwilliam ward although they were so very busy and I did not bother them I did need to go to the toilet and it was no trouble at all. Splendid people I have no complaints at all. Thank you to everyone.

I attended a&e on 22/12/23 on the advice of my gp and I was treated by a male nurse and a male doctor who were both absolutely lovely. I really hate being in hospital due to bad experiences in the past but these two members of staff have really restored my faith in the NHS. Thank you!

Review titled Endocrinology aftercare
Rated 3 stars out of 5

Been in hospital 3 times this year eventually came out with medication for my calcium but the doctor put down to be reviewed by hospital so my doctors will not prescribe me any. Left a messages on numerous occasions for my consultant on his secretary's answer machine and not heard a thing so it looks like I'll be in hospital again over Christmas. Nobody seems to care or want to help.

Review titled Fantastic Staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Lynn Smith - Posted on 20 August 2023
Came in to hospital as day surgery case, the admission department were excellent so professional & a organised department even tho they were short staffed on the day. Even the meeting with the anaesthetist & surgeon making you feel so relaxed. Even going down to the theatre and meeting the theatre staff they where so professional but really great people making you feel so comfortable & relaxed, you could see both department where under staffed but nothing failed them they just carried in regardless , all I can say my experience was excellent the nurses & theatre staff are worth there waiting gold they run a excellent ship in admissions day surgery & theatres & I feel they deserve the recognition doing a grand job every day probably this is not what every patient does not see. But all I can say you all do a fantastic job you deserve any pay rises that are awarded. What a bunch of lovely people you all where.
