I'd like to say a massive big thank you all of the nurses, doctors and all the other staffs. They were wonderful with my mother in law, besides the language barrier. (because she doesn't speak English).

  2. Review titled Awful discharge process

Rated 3 stars out of 5

My elderly vulnerable neighbour was sent out of Bournemouth hospital 4 hours early with no warning to her carers or neighbours who had keys . It was only by luck that we were around and she was let in but obviously the carers were not in place. The hospital mission statement of every patient having dignity was certainly not adhered to as she was just dispatched in my opinion.

Forever so so grateful to the Stroke Ward for their speedy response and expert care of my husband after being admitted with a major stroke. His recovery was nothing short of a miracle. Their efficiency, friendliness and warmth will always be remembered - so important at times of stress and fear.

I had day surgery and stayed one night on Ward 12. Everyone from the consultant to each and every nurse and healthcare assistant were polite, kind, cheerful, efficient and skilled. I felt very comfortable and cared for. Excellent.

  5. Review titled If you have patience you get perfection.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Harley Dimmer - Posted on 06 October 2023

Very warm, welcoming experience. Everyone was super informative, inviting and involved in helping me to get the right treatment. The wait was long, yes. But the service was worth the wait. Excellent analysis and second opinions really helped diagnose in detail. Doctors, nurses and receptionists working in a confident coalescence of care really put me at ease and the waiting room was peaceful and orderly. I am grateful for this service and its people even stretched to the limits, care for always at the forefront of Bournemouth NHS. Thank you all for your aid albeit nothing was wrong it was treated very seriously and professionally. I hope to not need this service any time soon but I’m confident that every time I step through those doors I get perfection. All we need, the patients, is patience, the team will do the rest.

I came to Bournemouth om holiday, was admitted to hospital. I was concerned as i was aware there was a Dr's strike but was seen quickly, scan and treatment given promptly The whole experience from the 111 phone call, the GP i saw and admission for 10 days was overall a smooth and positive experience.Thank you.

I went into day surgery Friday October 13th I stayed overnight on Ward 12. From the moment I checked in until I was discharged, every step of the way everyone that I saw I was treated so special and put at my ease. I always say we are so lucky, especially more so when busier times are difficult. I couldn’t be more grateful. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much everyone.

  10. Review titled Urgent Treatment Centre

Rated 5 stars out of 5

What brilliant service. The appointment was like clockwork was seen within 5 minutes, then seen by a nurse within a further 5 mins, the whole process from the carpark at the back of the hospital to being back to the car was 45 mins. The nurse was thorough and friendly. I am impressed and feel very lucky we have NHS.
