    I had to visit Ilkeston hospital for surgery on my wrist. Before the day, I looked at other reviews which was a big mistake! I wanted to put on my positive review to help other people who may be feeling worried... The whole team, from receptionist to surgeon couldn't have been more caring. They eased my nerves and kept me informed all along the way. They also took the time to keep my husband (who was waiting to take me home) informed. Top team! Thank you.

    Came for hand surgery feeling quite anxious but was left without any reassurance or support from nursing staff. Initially nurse seemed to begrudgingly book me in but left after a short while to talk to patients opposite me,who had epidurals ,and didn't finish my booking in or return. ( I wasn't even asked what meds I was on etc). I was left with no support or idea of procedures etc. There were other nurses with patients in the ward making them feel comfortable and supported which was wonderful for those patients. After surgery, I did however get support from a different member of staff which was hopeful. This was a very upsetting and isolating experience and should and could have been different. The surgeon , however was very professional and kind during the procedure

    Was rushed to Hospital with sepsis, The Ambulance crew were fantastic, A&E went above and beyond. Was transferred to icu for further monitoring and then moved to ward 402. I can’t thank all the Doctors, Nurses and everyone else that looked after me enough, their actions saved my life Thank you.

    Have had 3 infusions on the medical day case unit - everyone on the unit creates a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. After some confusion over my appointment time they managed to fit me in so I didn't have to leave and come back which was greatly appreciated. I have never been left waiting during any of my treatments which is fantastic.

    Following a bad fall resulting in head and face injury, I was taken to A&E by ambulance. Unfortunately on arrival there were no beds available as it was incredibly busy. The care I received from the Ambulance Crew, the Consultants, the A&E staff and the staff on Ward 101 was wonderful. Everyone was so kind and caring at a time when I felt vulnerable and scared. I can't thank you all enough, you deserve a medal each and every one of you. Thank you

    I went for a CT scan and endoscopy on 2nd August via a 2 week wait referral. The care I received at the hospital by the nursing staff and technicians was absolutely first class and could not fault anything from the wait time in the waiting room to the professionalism of the staff who dealt with Mr. The only criticism I have is that over 5 weeks later I still have not received my CT scan results despite emailing the consultants secretary and contacting my GP. I find this length of time extremely concerning as I'm sure the scan would be reported on promptly so why have I not heard anything?

    I was seen urgently for a neck ultrasound, 3 days after my GP appointment. The scan was on time, the radiologist was professional, thorough and it is now the next day and the report has already reached my GP. Was very anxious about this so very pleased with the speed of everything. Great service.

    From the paramedic,,ambulance staff,operating theatre staff, who were prepared and waiting for me,,Thank you. As for the ward staff on CCU no words can express my sincere thanks to all of you. Love to mention names,but you were all fantastic. The food was better than some 5 star hotels i been to. My room cleaned repeatly,thank you housekeeping. Special thank you to the receptionist on my discharge who made sure i was safe in my wifes car.
