  1. Review titled Compassionate staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 November 2022

Both the nurse and the doctor that my dad saw today in the eye clinic were the most compassionate we have encountered. Their manner and personality made the whole experience calm and pleasant. The doctor explained things in an understandable way for my 80 yr old dad and made us feel like we were really valued and not rushed at all.

  2. Review titled Good Experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 12 December 2022

I attended the hospital for a Nerve Conduction Test and although it was painful at times the doctor who was performing the test put me at ease and reassured me that everything was fine. I had to soak my feet in hot water because the feet have to be a certain temperature to perform the test and the nurse who was assisting the doctor was very nice. They explained what they were doing and the reason for it and I'm now waiting for the results of the test. The doctor reassured me and told me that my condition needs time to heal but it's going in the right direction so that was a relief. The doctor inspired confidence and I would highly recommend the hospital to other patients.

Complicated cataract procedure to my right eye and subsequent monitoring, all carried out by an excellent surgeon, Mr Ramkissoon, and brilliant staff. I have nothing but praise for their skill, care and professional approach. Cannot thank them enough for their treatment of me.

  4. Review titled Aftercare is non existant

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Elizabeth Hamer - Posted on 03 February 2023

After a crainiotomy I was ignored. I was told I would be seen in 2 weeks then 6 weeks to have scans and check my condition. I've rang a dozen telephone numbers and been told to ring other numbers. 3 months later I've seen no-one. Left scared and in pain.

  5. Review titled Birth at Jessops

by Cottonwool - Posted on 21 October 2022

Fabulous experience of delivering my first baby at Jessops. Sarah, our midwife, once we got into the labour ward was incredible - I gave birth in the pool, which was my plan. Everything was explained to me and I felt listened to. My husband also got to be involved. On the postnatal ward they were understaffed but everyone was lovely and came to help me learn to breastfeed. We were looked after really well and would recommend Jessops to any mums to be.

  7. Review titled Excellent levels of care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I attended the RHH Endoscopy department for a gastroscopy this week and wanted to commend the treatment I received. Interactions between staff as well as with patients was professional and supportive. In particular, the nurse who undertook my consultation before the procedure, the doctor who carried out the gastroscopy and the support worker who looked after me in recovery all treated me with a considerate and reassuring manner. I would mention them individually if I could! Thank you to them and the team. Overall, the level of care was excellent.

  9. Review titled Blood test

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Tahira Mahmood - Posted on 14 September 2022

I was sent to blood room to have a blood test done for my daughter we took a ticket and sat down in the corridor at 12.28 as there was no seating inside at 2.15pm I said to my daughter go inside and ask why we have been sat here nearly 2 hours and noone has called our number which was 224. We looked on the wall and the number now said ticket number 253 we realised then that 29 people had gone in before us and nobody had come out to shout our number or call us in. It was very frustrating the hospital should have had a speaker in the corridor too. I think the system needs changing
