Review titled Brilliant, effective and caring treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 08 December 2022
Despite delays in A&E, which are obviously not the fault of the staff (9h wait), I would like to sincerely thank all the staff at the A&E unit, and emergency day assessment unit for their caring, compassionate and effective treatment that I received for an unexpected, adverse reaction to some drugs which had been prescribed for me, and which was quickly resolved. There was a sense of purpose to get to bottom of the problem, and as a patient I felt cared for, listened to and treated with respect.

Review titled Excellent Staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Christine Margaret Harrison - Posted on 20 December 2022
The experience we had in the A&E was life changing, It was an extremely busy evening but we where welcomed with true professionals from the moment we entered, As we sat and waited for approximately 6 hours, what we saw was nothing more than miracles happening the staff were so organised for the amount of patients arriving, It was completely controlled even when there was an incident in the room we were all waiting in, the doctors and nurses handled it immediately without thinking of the danger they were putting themselves in. The cleaning staff were called for another incident in the room which was dealt with very efficiently and quickly, we did realise that there were a lot of patients from Morecambe who said the hospital there was closed at weekends and could have dealt with a lot of the cases in that evening which may have taken some of the pressure the staff that were coping diligently under the circumstances. We were taken through for treatment and my son received excellent care for his injury, The doctors and nurse treated us with complete respect and explained each procedure completely, The whole experience will never be forgotten by us, yet the staff at Lancaster have to deal with such trauma every day and may I say that without such Genuine Caring People we could not survive.

Thanks to the great staff in the dermatology department, within 3 weeks of a consultation I had two moles removed. The staff who removed the moles were lovely and my appointments were on time. Would definitely come here again.

by Emma M - Posted on 28 January 2023
I had my baby in Lancaster in November last year and the staff and service were great. I was treated really well and respectfully. The staff in the maternity ward and the ambulance staff were very kind with me, they were lovely, friendly and professional throughout the time I was there. I was very confident that I was in good hands. Thank you

Review titled Suggestion
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I suggest that the website address should contain information, including contact details, regarding the Stroke Clinic at the R L I. Entering the word Stroke into the search box gives no results. Telephoning to find out the location of the stroke clinic for my appointment, namely Medical Unit 2, was not a simple matter.

I was recently admitted to A & E Department and cannot thank them enough for their kind, caring and dedicated professionalism. I was treated with the utmost courtesy at all times and my medical problem was soon diagnosed and treated. A wonderful service which was very much appreciated. I was also impressed with the catering service - well done A & E!!!
