Review titled Just ace !!!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Martin Williams - Posted on 13 September 2022
I was in ward 226 for 6 days following surgery to put my hip back together after falling off a push bike and giving myself an acetabular fracture. To compound matters I tested covid positive on the morning of my op. Can I please say a massive thank you to everyone that put me back together, washed, cleaned, pushed me around, physio'd, drugged, fed, watered and generally made my stay as comfortable as possible in an isolation room in the middle of a very warm few days. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone and I am so grateful because you are all worth so much more... Am rubbish with names, so if you were part of the team looked after me then thank you, thank you, thank you...... Cheers Martin Williams

Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mary - Posted on 14 August 2022
I have had several admissions to a & e this year and yes there was a wait for ambulance but under the severe pressure they are on I was treated 1st class from home through a & e to admission to ward . Instead of complaining about staff who try their best under great pressure have a go at all the time wasters . Well done nhs

Review titled Requires improvement

After waiting patiently 5 hrs at the sdu I asked on behalf of the people sitting outside the ward if a drink of water would be possible? The response “I can’t I’m busy the doctor will see you shortly” today 14/07 the met office have issued extreme heat warnings and your service is unable to provide water to vulnerable patients who are here in the first place due to their needs You need to review your cloe’s You rating of requires improvement is absolutely correct

Review titled Fantastic department

Recently attended the cardiac cath lab for a angiogram, the staff were very friendly and professional putting nervous patients like myself at ease. The doctor and all the staff in the lab introduced themselves and explained their roles and really put me at ease after the procedure the nursing staff were very helpful. Although I wasn't looking forward to having the angiogram I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this department for the level of care and professionalism from start to finish.

Review titled Great Service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Graham Earp - Posted on 15 July 2022
My wife was admitted for a TAVI procedure on the 7th July and wishes to place on record her thanks to all involved. She states that all members of Staff that she came into contact with were very friendly and professional whilst going about their duties. The Treatment she received was first class and is now feeling much better. It was obvious that all Staff were operating under extreme pressure, yet they all provided a First Class Service. Thank you once again to The Royal Stoke Hospital.
