  2. Review titled Absolutely Awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

I was sent by an OOH doctor to A&E no referral was sent ,the triage ordered the wrong blood tests , I waited 5 hours and was told it would be another 8 hours to see a doctor, I saw the nurse shouting at patients who were complaining, but if you dared to say anything like I did which was ' ,You have taken the wrong blood tests ' .I was told I was being passive aggressive!!! I was talked into taking another blood test, but I never got the result because the gas machine was broken . A nurse barged into my cubicle twice , he interrupted my blood test, the health worker had to loosen my tornika whilst he moaned about his shifts and that there were no doctors in resuscitation, Still not had the blood test results? I felt safer at home, not a good experience

Had a minor operation on my head, was seen to on admittance with no wait, surgeon and staff dealt with everything so I felt no pain or discomforts, was put well at ease, all went well without any probs, and I was discharged in less than one hour!

  4. Review titled Many thanks

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had an appointment early on Friday 9 June 2023 for the removal of my ovaries and cysts etc. Everything was carried out with great professionalism by all concerned …I would like to thank all the staff involved for their care and cheerfulness during the few days I spent in hospital. I would have liked the opportunity to thank personally the surgeon who carried out the procedure…although I understand pressure of work makes this difficult. Many thanks for the comparative speed of getting an appointment in these difficult times. I hope the government recognises the good work done by all doctors and remunerates you all better.

  5. Review titled Absolutely appalling

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Barry Delves - Posted on 16 June 2023

My sister was supposed to have back surgery today. Turned up and was told it was cancelled and the secretary had phoned her After proving that had not happened they agreed she had not called her but then stated that although her time was 09:00 all back ops were scheduled for the afternoon, the actual computer on the desk showed she was booked in at 14:30. So much for it had been cancelled. Also told all back surgery needed two surgeons to carry it out. Then told she would need to have an MRI scan before having her op , yes the one that was supposed to be at 9am and the desk computer showed her at 2:30. So no op another long wait no doubt for another scan. Having had a CT scan. What a shambles and massive let down for my sister who Is in agony. One for investigation surely. At least the CQC need to be informed and the matter to be resolved satisfactory

  10. Review titled Disgusting service , horrible doctor

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 June 2023

Came to A&E with a flare up of an ongoing chronic condition I have had for 4 years , at first care was subpar but got the job done , was being referred to a medic team and all was well thill this morning I was greeted by a doctor who was nothing short of the rudest person I have ever met in my life , who at first asked to speak to me then as I tried to explain my issues , continuously spoke over me , raised his voice and dismissed every concern I had , I asked to speak to a consultant specialist in the field I was requiring before leaving after being sat in A&E for 12 hours before seeing a doctor . This doctor then proceeded to shout over me then accuse me of being aggressive and threatened me with the security and police , I am utterly disgusted at royal stoke , don’t go here for Health care issues , clearly they’re desperate for the beds
