I felt I was very well cared for by a team of people who cooperate with each other to achieve their goals. The atmosphere is one of confidence and cheerfulness, busy and united.

My partner had our first child at guilford hospital and we had the midwife’s A lice & M egan and they were absolutely unbelievable they made us both feel so calm and safe and got my partner through a very difficult birth we cannot thank them enough they were both present from start to finish being my partners voice when she couldn’t speak for herself, even down to after the birth both of them took the time to come and visit her in the ward to check on her wellbeing. Just the most amazing people we could have had the pleasure to be with. Thank you so much to both of you

From the time I entered the A&E department until I was discharged two days later, the care I had was first rate. From the doctors, nursing staff, phlebotomists and even the x-ray porter, the treatment and care was faultless. I am a fussy eater but I actually enjoyed the meals. They were tasty, hot and well prepared. I saw other patients eating with relish. I asked for a side salad and it arrived consisting of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber - crispy and very fresh. The nursing staff were helpful and kind. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. They worked steadily and kindly. My personal dignity was taken into account as well as my personal needs. Considering the negativity I have heard about other hospitals, this was off the excellent scale. What more can I say. Whatever you are doing at this hospital - keep it up.

I attended the Day Surgery yesterday for a glaucoma shunt operation. Just wanted to say that the whole experience was excellent. The nursing staff were efficient, professional and friendly, as was the anaesthetist. The surgeon in question has been very confidence inspiring throughout this process and it appears he has done an excellent job with the surgery. I must add that in general my experience at the glaucoma clinic @ outpatients 10 has been very satisfactory. Many thanks to all

We visited today after my daughter had a head injury. We were seen quickly and every interaction with staff was attentive, fun and engaging for our two year old. Each team member made her feel comfortable even when she was scared. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication even when you are overworked and underfunded. You are what makes the NHS great!

we had the most wonderful service when we unfortunately had to take our 3 year old to a&e then through to Paediatric a&e. A special mention to the female nurses on shift that night aswell as the doctor and the male nurse. My daughter has never coped well in any clinical environment, a simple taking of her a temperature is always traumatic, so I knew we were in for a ride. As she screamed, these particular staff never once made us feel an annoyance. One female nurse in particular took the time to gain some form of trust with my daughter which meant it was a little easier to obtain the bloods that were needed. Those mentioned treated us with no judgment and with such kindness. They were busy the whole time but always made effort to pop their heads in on us whilst we waited. A huge massive thank you to you all, my daughter has requested we buy candles as a gift however they deserve so much more. Thank you for all your hard work.

The education, guidance and support I received from the Insomnia Service was at just the right level at the right time. The staff were compassionate and understanding, I feel it was tailored just to my circumstances. Would highly recommend this, do take advantage of this service if it is offered to you!

I had my annual ENT check up this morning. The whole visit, from buying a parking ticket, walking to the ENT department, seeing the consultant, and checking out of the car park, took 19 minutes. Very impressive, and always is with this gentleman.

The Insomnia service was just what I needed. The programme was informative and accessible. The Clinician was supportive and I felt that I was listened to which is so important when you have a sleep problem. My sleep has considerable improved and even when my sleep is poor I now feel more in control and have the strategies I need to adapt to different circumstances. Thank You.
