The above staff member ( initials above ie ab) I cannot thank enough. She was polite, efficient and dealt with our query promptly and with kindness and professionalism. What a great asset she is to the admissions team. Such a vital and valued service the team provide to patients and family members, this lady was exceptional. She deserves recognition for her support.

  2. Review titled Wonderful ENT Team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I underwent sinus surgery on the 05 November. From the moment I arrived at the Short stay surgery Reception the whole process went extremely well. The two surgeons who came to see me and the actual surgeon who performed the surgery both absolutely brilliant surgeons. The team of anaesthitists inside the operating theatre so helpful and professional. The lady who looked after me in the post op recovery room was so helpful. The pre op assessment team did an amazing job to in organising everything prior to my surgery. We all salute you for the incredible work you do every day with such diligence and integrity and for changing peoples' lives.

Very kind and caring staff Discharge procedure was not great, morning was told I could go home, it took till 7pm before I finally received my medication, this was extremely frustrating for both myself and my family

  4. Review titled 1st experience

Rated 3 stars out of 5

We experienced good care for my mum, taken to A&E following a fall. CT head scan actioned quickly, review by Dr, then on to separate trips for X-ray and CT of her hip. Porters, Doctors, Radiographers, Nurses - all very patient with her needs (dementia, disability). Then moved to AMU for review after scans/bloods and seen by geriatrician. Quite a long wait of 1.5hr to sort pain medication due to back and forth from mum to nurse to dr during trips for scans and transfer to AMU and intolerance of codeine. Staff very good at advising their names and explaining processes clearly to mum, amidst a much more confused state of mind during the day. 1 night stay, HCA staff assisted mobilisation and transfer to the car, and updates the care home on her medical situation. Car parking at visitor times on Monday was bad. Otherwise very clean areas we used and pleasant staff. Hopefully we won't have to return again soon, but if we do we hope it will be a similar good experience.

by Jan Alderson - Posted on 13 November 2024

I was with the Acute Medical Unit for the day yesterday. Although I have been prevented from naming the staff to whom I would like to give exceptional praise not only for the care and consideration I received but for that given to other patients. I would like to congratulate the Royal Surrey for providing these marvellous members of staff from student nurse to Consultant doctor and everyone in between. I hope this message arrives safely, not sure to where I should send it!. Grateful thanks Jan Alderson

  7. Review titled Another huge thank you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sue CoryWright - Posted on 08 November 2024

I would like to thank everyone from the breast screening team, including volunteers, radiologists, ultrasound specialists and everyone else who helped me today for all their care, empathy and professionalism. Every one of you helped me have a positive experience and in these days of doom, gloom and negativity (especially with regards to NHS) I feel privileged to have been seen by so many helpful professionals. Thank you for all you do in your (extraordinary) work. You may feel it’s ’all in a day’s work for you) but for me, everyone of you made a difference, so thank you very very much.

I cannot speak highly enough of both the wonderful nurse in Trauma and Orthopedics dept. Who deserves a special mention for her absolute, amazing attitude and care and also the 3 people involved in the X-ray department. Again, I could not have wished for more had I been private.

  10. Review titled Amazing Male Gynecologist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Holly McMaster - Posted on 25 November 2024

I just wanted to point out how amazing my experience tonight was. I am 6 weeks pregnant and have suffered with bleeding tonight. I have been Very anxious all night until i was seen by the Gynecologist on tonight. I am aware I can not use names which i would’ve love to of done as he was amazing. He reassured me a lot even though he has prepared me for a bad outcome. The amount of patience he had for me was amazing, took the time to get to know me and my dad, alongside doing his best to make sure i was at least semi calm (which is very difficult for me). He may not of given me an answer tonight on what is happening but how he was with me was amazing. I am so thankful, regardless of the outcome. Thank you so much. From Holly
