My therapist was caring, informative and efficient. She listened to the nature of the problem and offered ‘tools’ for overcoming it. As a result I feel more confident in dealing with insomnia and am well on the way to being cured. My quality of life has improved considerably and I am extremely grateful.

Review titled Excellent treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5

This review relates to the Endoscopy Unit. I had a colonoscopy on 19 March and I was very impressed with the service I received from everyone on the unit. All staff were unfailingly kind and caring. From the moment I arrived until discharge everyone was very pleasant and helpful. The endoscopist and her team made me feel very at ease. I was given a report on the findings immediately afterwards together with on-going care advice and some very welcome refreshments! Many thanks to all involved.

The care of my daughter when admitted to A&E cannot be faulted. The staff were kind, patient and attentive in spite of difficulties find a bed and a difficult night on the ward. They kept us well informed and we felt able to ask questions even though they were busy. A credit to the hospital

Review titled Kindness in care
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Alan Barrett - Posted on 12 March 2025
I recently spent 4 days in Albury Ward (Royal Surrey) for a respiratory condition. I was not seriously ill but received every support I could have wanted. Far more important was the kindness and patience that I witnessed being offered to other patients who were worse off than me, some of whom frankly I would have lost my patience with, yet the ward staff were endlessly patient and considerate. Whilst the NHS as an entity may pick up criticism from time to time, the grass roots (based on my experience) are still a model of care.

Review titled Great communication by FY1
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Hugh Logan Ellis - Posted on 16 February 2025
I just want to commend the F1 on call for acute medicine/ geriatrics tonight 16th February (I can't leave a name in this review but her first name begins with H) and the set up which made it so easy to call her. She communicated very well, knew all the details of my grandfather's presentation, and was exemplary. Please pass this onto her so she can use it in her portfolio. Thank you

Review titled Positive Care
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Lady who works on maternity department for vaccinations. Is very gentle, thorough and very chatty. Her care is beyond lovely to see and I have had vaccinations off her multiple times and her presence is always the same. When attending with my son, she speaks to him, talks to me about the vaccinations and shows me the box, continuously talks to make you feel comfortable in the room. It 100% rare to see so kind and courageous individuals like her around and truly believe it should be appreciated.

Review titled Amazing staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had to attend A&E this morning and felt compelled to write a review on the most incredible staff. A&E is never a place you want to find yourself, but this morning, I didn’t have a choice as I was so unwell. The expected wait time said 3-4 hours on screen but I was seen within less than 15 mins for triage. I was immediately sent for various tests and the entire time the staff were so polite, reassuring and professional. I was seen and able to go back home within 3 hours in total, and I’m so grateful to the staff for looking after me so well.
