    Attending St Albans Hospital was a revelation. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and calm, unlike some hospitals I’ve been to. Seen on time by the Consultant and everything explained to me in an unhurried manor. Had a procedure under a general anaesthetic in the Day Unit and again everyone friendly and helpful and reassuring. If for any reason you need to go to a hospital I would strongly recommend you go to this one. Cannot fault it one little bit. Thank you

    Appointment notification by phone on Friday for today,no paperwork but nothing needed. Straight to waiting room on arrival, Called right on time,then straight to scanner and everything explained in detail. Cannula applied painlessly. More explanations completely put at ease in non patronising way. Dye/contrast injected. Scan followed with again more explanations! Nothing but kindness shown every step of the way to an extremely nervous old lady.Everyone involved from arrival to leaving was brilliant. Wonderful NHS.
