What to say… Admitted for an operation and cannot fault the service! Super friendly staff, who could not do enough to look after me, make me comfortable and put my mind at rest, whilst keeping the place clean and tidy and operating smoothly. Thank you doesn’t really show my appreciation, but is very much deserved!

I visited the Sanderson Suite on 24th April and would like to thank the Consultant, Anaethestis and all the staff for the great care and surgery performed on me. I appreciate all you have done and thanks too to the staff on the Seddon Suite due to my overnight stay. Thank you all for being so considerate and caring. You all do a brilliant job.

On 6th March 2023 I was admitted to The Sanderson Suite to receive prp therapy from The Pain Management Team. I was settled onto the ward by 2 of the Nurses, both of whom were warm, friendly and professional. I was quite nervous and they made every effort to explain the procedure to me and to ensure that I was comfortable and well informed. When I was taken down to have the procedure carried out I was initially a bit taken aback by how many people it involved however at no time was I left alone. The Pain Team made every effort to explain the therapy to me and let me know exactly what was going to happen. My grateful thanks to the lovely nurse who stayed with me throughout the entire procedure and did everything she could to improve the experience for me. The entire Pain Therapy Team and the staff of the Sanderson Suite are a credit to St Helens Hospital and I would appreciate it if my thanks could be passed onto them. Regards Tracy Robinson

Fantastic out patient hospital. Takes pressure off Whiston in the right way. Very rarely kept waiting and staff are great. Every trust should have a hospital like St Helens.

Attended for smear test & polyp removal. Couldn’t ask for a more efficient appointment delivered in a caring & friendly manner while being professional. Every aspect of what was going to happen was explained to me during the procedures. I felt valued as a person rather than a number & appreciated the friendly conversation at what can be a stressful & embarrassing time. Having being a nursing mentor for many years this teams personal progressive approach is something I would encourage my mentees to emulate. Thank you very much, I appreciate your efforts today & would encourage anyone requiring gynaecology interventions to go to St.Helens Hospital.

I attended my Mohs surgery appointment expecting the procedure to be carried out, but instead the very nice Doctor carried out a "pre op" type interview. Being stressed out prior to attending expecting op to take place could and should have been avoided if appointment letter contained imfo regarding what was intended on that visit.

Absolutely fantastic staff and hospital, I was in for a large cyst removal,something I've never had done before and the staff put me at ease and tool great care of me through out. There wasn't a point were I didn't know what was happening or what the plan was. Come out of surgery to the same care and made sure I was okay and fed and watered. Thank you again and keep it up.

I came to The Burney Breast Screening Unit last week and was blown away by the efficiency of the fantastic staff at the hospital (from the reception team to the radiographer to the main reception and also the car park staff). I was in the hospital for a grand total of 12 minutes from start to finish and the normally unpleasant mammogram was completed quickly and efficiently. I went to pay my car park and l had misplaced my ticket. The reception team, together with car park staff, sorted it without issue. The overall service was outstanding. 10/10 St Helens Hospital... Thank you.
