was examined and at the end given a prescription, so following day went off to outside large well known pharmacy as hospital one cannot be used apparently. pharmacist came to me after a long wait a lot of other people with prescriptions which I did not mind but he queried the script with me and said it has been completed incorrectly/ told him hospital doctor had completed it and he told me to return it to hospital and get them to do it correctly? the script had rpt x6??? not allowed to and he would be keeping the script if he gave me x1 product?? not my fault - here we go again.

I accompanied my relative who was in a wheelchair to dermatology outpatients where she had a minor operation. The staff were so friendly and professional and explained all they were doing and why. Could not fault them at all.

I had a very positive experience, with friendly and very professional staff from the moment I arrived till my wife collected me.The endoscopy is a very uncomfortable experience,my colon has in the past been tricky to survey and difficult, the staff checked with my previous consultant on the spot in order to see if there were any areas where they could make it easier, they did and it was. That is service over and above!!!

  5. Review titled Excellent Care in A&E

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 September 2023

My mother was sent into hospital by ambulance. The care and kindness shown to her was amazing and they were really quick on treating her as her SATs were so poor. The only thing I would like them to have done differently was allowing me to be there when she was initially assessed. It would have saved them time as my Mum has dementia and was more confused than normal whilst the care home had given them a lot of wrong information. That followed us around the hospital with me having to put things right which was more stressful than it needed to be. Other than that, I can't praise the department enough.

I cannot praise the staff that I saw this morning highly enough. They were so thoughtful and caring, making me feel comfortable and offering lots of reassurance in a not so nice environment. I was on time for my appointment and the service was very efficient. All staff were very friendly and attentive.
