    My elderly father was admitted via A&E but it's impossible to get any information regarding his situation. The only people who can give any information seem to be the nurses but they're, understandably, too busy to answer. The phone just rings out and then disconnects! What am I supposed to do? Have a 3 hour round trip to go to A&E in the hope that someone can help? What happened to Admissions who could answer general questions... i.e. Has he been admitted? and/or Will be be kept in overnight?

    I was admitted to ward d1 recently after being on a.m.u ,I was looked after well by the staff,but at night I found it impossible to sleep as it was so cold.I asked for an extra blanket but was told there were no spares.There was also a lot of visitors stood around one of the beds all night ,talking and laughing and generally making sleep impossible.

    Ihave been to Jasmine suite 3 times in the last few weeks. I was referred by my GP on the 2 week cancer pathway. I had a scan, hysteroscopy, cervical test and then a polypectomy. The consultants and nurses were brilliant. They went to great lengths to make me feel completely at ease. They looked after my dignity at all times as these procedures were very intimate. Everything was clearly explained. The constantly asked me if I was ok. The were very professional as well as friendly and kind. I had a phonecall yesterday to ask me to go in that afternoon to discuss the results. As I have covid I couldn't go. A consultant phoned me in the afternoon to say the biopsy showed pre cancerous cells. The treatment offered was an MRI scan next week followed by a hysterectomy shortly after. I could not have been looked after any better. Amazing!

    Unimportant as I got informed my blood results were done but I couldn't be informed yet as there is people ahead, which I understand due to the process you follow, but no one seems to take in people's circumstances such as starting work early or having to resolve family issues at home so realistically I would of been better off suffering with the pain and getting the stuff done that needed doing than coming to the A&E.

    From the moment we arrived the quality of care was outstanding. It was an stressful and emotional time, but I was kept informed throughout my daughters assessment and a treatment plan was quickly implemented. I have nothing but admiration for all the amazing staff at Stepping Hill children's A&E dept. Thank you so much

    Rude receptionists, lack of empathy from nurses and doctors who are only trying to get rid of patients as soon as possible. Long waiting times (was waiting for about an hour to see the nurse for triage). Elderly people having to wait on a chair the whole night. Mentally I’ll patients having to wait at the same room with everyone else. Unacceptable. Third world country health system and hospital. What a shame.

    Excellent, it was the last remaining Orifice for a Camera, and the one I most worried about, no need, great Team from start to finish, very professional with humour thrown in, despite all the upheaval with the building work going on, Thanks very much.

    I had such a positive experience at stepping hill. My daughter came through A/E with severe asthma. The doctors and nurses has a protocol in place that was spot on. The Doctor escalated the protocol until my daughter could breath. My daughter is scared of needles and blood but the nurses quickly put a canula in place very efficiently that we avoided alot of screaming and crying. They were so good at managing her condition in and minimising her distress in such a stressful situation of life and death. The doctors, nurse and health care professionals on the Treehouse ward, again were so amazingly kind and professional. The protocol was put into place to wean my daughter off a drip and nebules so she was home less than 48rs later. From deaths door to life. Their professionalism and kindness is something I will always remember. Many thanks to everybody! Professionals at their best!

    I had to unfortunately come to A&E on a Saturday and expected it to be busy, it was, but the staff were very hard working and efficient. Every person I encountered was wonderful and helped to get further treatment as quick as possible, nurses, doctors, administrators and porters alike. Thank you to everyone for all the hard work you do.

    My grandmother came into A&E after a fall. The staff were really busy and we're on the 13th hour of work but you couldn't tell by the treatment that I received. The staff were thorough attentive and very friendly and provided her with lots of comfort throughout the testing process. They gave her a good thorough treatment before I was discharged. Thank you for your support
