  2. Review titled Excellent care- urgent care/ paeds a&e

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Claire (mum of Remy) - Posted on 20 November 2024

I was advised by 111 to attend urgent care with my baby (who had a fever). I want to commend everyone from the reception staff in urgent care and Paeds A&E to the nurse who saw me in urgent care and the doctor, consultant and nurse who saw us in a&E. They were so rapid but thorough and I came away feeling reassured and supported. A bunch of super stars! Thank you!

  3. Review titled Terrible past pillow to post.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Rach - Posted on 14 October 2024

Son sent to A&E by his doctor needing scan or xray my son suffer anxiety and doesn't like hospitals also has needle phobia, after waiting a couple of hours and sent to nurse to see doctor the mention that they needed bloods or couldn't give my a scan he ended panicking and running out of hospital, so never had scan/xray, didn't take his anxiety and phobia serious so he ended up with a mental down. You can't talk someone/child out of a phobia within minutes/hours . Also terrible language barriers.

  5. Review titled Excellent treatment- Endoscopy Unit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by June Kearns - Posted on 05 November 2024

The Consultant and Team at the Endoscopy Unit have given me excellent treatment. The investigations were in a quick timescale and I was fully informed by the Consultant about the results in a very caring manner. The Endoscopy Team are very caring and made me feel at ease. The Unit was an excellent facility for myself, the single rooms with an en-suite toilet are very clean and comfortable. Many thanks to you all.

  6. Review titled Praise to a great team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mary Garvey - Posted on 29 October 2024

I recently had surgery for a knee replacement, trauma theatre team were marvellous. The theatre staff from the surgeon, anesthetis and recovery nurses got me through a difficult time in recovery. The two girls, were angels. The kindest moment was when they held me and spoke to me until the episode ended. I have so much respect and gratitude to them all. When I go back for my other knee surgery I hope I will be treated by the same considerate team.

  7. Review titled Unforgettable birthing experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 September 2024

Planned c section and from start to finish the whole experience was incredible. Me and my husband were reassured all the way, and the care all the staff took of my baby was wonderful. From stepping foot into the theatre, to being took back to recovery, I never once felt nerves or anxious. All because of the incredible staff who went out their way to reassure us everything would be ok. My surgeon was brilliant and I’ll never forget her for bringing my baby here safely. All the theatre staff were wonderful and brilliant at their jobs. Special shoutout to my theatre midwife who looked after us from beginning to end (also extra special that my baby’s name was the same as hers), she is a true angel and couldn’t do enough for me. All my requests were met so that I had a magical birth and nothing was too much trouble for her. Overall, what could be a scary time for others, was not for me, because of the incredible hard work everyone did the day my little arrived. Thank you all for everything

  9. Review titled Disappointing neurology appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Kath - Posted on 02 September 2024

Seen a neurology follow up and for a 2nd opinion found that she’d spoken to neurology at Freeman who I had a bad experience with and put a complaint in about via Pals. As I ended up in Qe a&e the next day, for 3 days as she took no notice of my symptoms? Obviously she hasn’t seen notes on 2nd dystonic storm / dystonia given to in medical records since at Rvi a&e admission and treatment given for something she said I don’t have??? I’ll be seeking a neurologist appointment in London or abroad who deals with eds and the many commodities linked to this awful disease. Bad experience and misdiagnosed for years. I was told I couldn’t have scan movement tests for craniocervical instability??? Waste of my time and hers. Thanks for nothing…

  10. Review titled Excellent & quick services

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Stephen Smith - Posted on 23 September 2024

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year and operated on in September. Everyone from diagosis, through; choice of treatment; operation; aftercare were brilliant. Diagnosis and exploration was very thourough. The whole process took less than 4 months from diagnosis to post-op and I was only in hospital for one night. My grateful thanks to all consultants, doctors, nurses and other staff.
